Title: Gakic Hype or real thing?
Post by: youngguns on February 15, 2006, 03:15:59 PM
Is Gakic alot of Hype or the real deal? Muscle tech has such a large advertising budget I am just not sure if it is worth it.

I would probably guess hype, but I haven't tried Gakic.

At this point I only swear by Creatine, but I did get a free sample in the mail of Gakic, and I did improve by a rep or two on most of my lifts that workout.

P.S. And I keep a detailed training log and have a certain number of sets that I max out on every workout, so I can know for sure if I actually got stronger on a lift. Unless you have sets that you are absolutely maxing out on (going to failure), it will be hard for you to guage if Gakic will work for you. GOod Luck.

Please explain.

It is a strength supplement.  But the more weight you lift, the bigger you will get.  It's just kinda weird.  You muscles don't tire out as quick so I am getting 2-3 more reps per set.  On weight that I would usually fail at 6-8 reps I'm hitting 9-11.

Squats it show'd the most.  I was lifting and I couldn't get past the 6-7, 8 with a spot rep range with this weight for EVER, first time I squated with Gakic I got 9 with a chest cold (almost fainted cause I couldn't breath), second time I got 10 with out spotter assistance.

Believe me, I'm as skeptical as anyone, but I am using the s**t.  Plust you go to A1 supplements you get a can for $50 rather than $80 at GNC.  Lasts 3 weeks.

Take it for what it's worth.

WOW !!! Now thats excellent results, plus the fact that since you are maxing out on some of your lifts, you can really guage how much gakic is working for you. Good for you ! :)
