Title: Craig Titus was an amateur wrestling champion
Post by: The RedMeatKid on October 19, 2014, 01:25:08 PM
It depends on what MMA fighter you're talking. I mean, I can see a 270 lbs sauced Titus wth his 500 lbs bench press taking out a bantaweight or ligtweight 130 ls fighter. C'mon, you got to admit that it's possible. Even though Titus couldn't punch lke the pro fighter and has no technique, the heer difference in size and strengh could give hin the win. It would be essentially like a little woman who knows how to fight vs a large man who can't. Now any middleweight would utterly demolish Titus. For Titus to win, he needs to have a crushing advantage in size&strengh.

SUCKMYMUSCLE
No technique? ? Craiggers was on the wrestling team in high school and was state champion.  He could have wooped 90% of the UFC.

You really aren't very bright. No wonder your country is bending over for Islam. Go brush your teeth.

And an amateur murderer. He lived in the middle of the desert. All he needed was a shovel and an afternoon digging. Then he'd still be banging fitness whores.

was Titus really state champion?  Surely he's posed with his trophies.

Just saying, every time a BBer talks about their high school achievements, they ran a 4.19 and would have been drafted by the NFL, except for a knee injury or dedication to working at the local Payless...

This is a common story.

Young teenage bro or Hebrew with NFL potential suffers a knee injury and during rehab discovers his gift and passion for bbing.

Sure.....

That's why he needed to drug, strangle, taze, duct tape, bind then beat, his 110 lb assistant Melissa James, before burning her in the desert.

I guess that's considered funny on the new version of Getgimmick.

Fuckhead.

Isn't there still a whole sub-board on Titus/Ryan?

It blows my mind that you believe he could beat 90% of UFC fighters. I have a different stat. I believe he could beat zero UFC fighters of any weight. Have you ever rolled on the mats in submission wrestling? These fighters are the top of the food chain.

i do agree wrestling is the best base for MMA,any of u guys remember CONTENDERS?it was a match up of straight up wrestlers like dan henderson, keven jackson, tom erickson ect against pure submission style fighters like frank shamrock, ect. frank took on dan henderson and heel hooked dan quickly and dan screamed in pain, dan was clearly dominating position but when it went into a scramble is was franks world. then again u get a guy like mark kerr back in his day and he would just demolish people by using his wrestling base to ground and pound them into hamburger.i guess what im saying is u need alittle submissions and wrestling mixed together to be successful at the UFC level,as good as royce was back then if he came into today he wouldnt do to well in the UFC CAUSE HE RELIED STRAIGHT ON HIS BJJ,them days r far gone and now u need a combo of everything, but ill stand by my statement that wrestling is the single best base for MMA,MUAY THIA IS SECOND IMO,then its submissions.also alot of people forget that wrestling has a bunch of submissions that r brutaly effective, after all it is the oldest ground based martial art known to man.i wouldnt go as far as saying titus could beat most of the ufc guys but he is a big man and if he was a high school state champ im sure hes decent on taking people down,he looks like he could fight tho,he doesnt strike me as a punk by no means

[/quot]Titus back in the day could street fight and wrestle. Remember most street fights comes down to how far someone will go to win. I have seen some guys basically  ripped a dudes balls off and the mount him, and punish him severely. Wie all know Titus will kill. You can't get much worse than that.

It begs the question, has Titus ever wrestled with his conscious and if so...Who won?

Craig is an inspiration.

In a physical altercation outside the sporting MMA cage, a prime Titus would not be remotely outmatched against a majority of UFC/MMA competitors. Not saying he would necessarily win. There are too many variables to consider in a real fight ... and on a fight to fight basis. But Craig would hold his own, and he would not be an easy victory, at the very least.

This MMA/TapOut/Affliction/Gassed-Out generation is purely delusional regarding its effectiveness against a massively superior strength athlete. And again, I am not suggesting invincibility, either.

Jesus Wept!

Literally I find this broad's derriere disgusting. It's like a gigantic oil can or some shit.

I anxiously await the news of the happy couple's demise, too. Two world-class ego freaks (one positively nuclear with this trait to the point of being in need of professional intervention) all emotionally bent out of shape and OUT FOR BLOOD.

Gonna be awesome.

Titus has more garden hose veins in biceps, sitting in lockup for almost a decade, than Cutler ever had in his prime.

Really makes you think, man.
