guy looked fine to me, then again i wasnt as close as the ref was. maybe the ref asked the guy can u continue and the guy didnt understand english to well and thought the ref meant r u hurt and the fighter said no n the ref stopped it,all in all the ref was giving him standing 8 count n atleast should let him go and kept close eye on him,bad stoppage imo.worst stoppage was meldrick taylor vs julio ceaser chavez,richard steel stopped it with like 1 or 2 seconds on clock or less in last rd and taylor was up on the score cards,talk about a ref getting paid off.granted chavez was hitting him against the ropes but it was nothing damaging that taylor couldnt handle,yes taylor went down but got right back up.plus man ONE SECOND LEFT in a championship fight i believe also ???.THAT REF SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED,WEIRD TO CAUSE DON KING WAS CHAVEZ MANAGER AND KING AND REF STEEL R KNOWN TO BE PRETTY TIGHT FREINDS

good, more refs should be beaten to a pulp, maybe after more of these cases it will clean up the sport

Boxing judges, referees are corrupt/ retarded as well.

Seems like a fair exchange. Ref impacted boxers career with a horrible decision. Pays consequences for it. They're even. Seriously though, as Chris Rock would say, I don't condone it..but I understand it. A fighter trains for an upcoming fight. Puts his heart and sweat into it and all they ask is for a fair shot at winning. This ref had no business in there and negated all the efforts put into preperation. Fighter demonstrated he was capable of continuing.
