I guess I have to deal with Black Widow and Archer, but man, Aquaman is a retard.

I always favoured Marvel, i have no inclination to read or watch anything related to the Justice League. Its all subjective, hell my best friend & i always argue as he practically bleeds DC, i just find their characters more appealing to me.

I'm a fan of both. I just enjoy a good superhero movie no matter who it comes from. Although The Dark Knight IMO is better than anything Marvel has put out to this point & I also think it's the best superhero movie ever made.

Marvel movies are made for the family. You can take the whole family including grandparents. This maximizes profits.
The Batman movies create a following and always have since 1989.

All very true. I know the Avengers for example was fun & action filled, basically a cartoon using real people. While DC movies on the other hand take a more grounded & serious tone.

Marvel tries to convey "morals" using fun, action and humor, in the movies.
And just as you said, the DC films are more grounded and serious. They try to convey not just morals, but the responsibility of the individual to act when injustice is done. Sitting there and doing nothing, is just the same as sitting there and watching a movie.
So, when you "watch" the movies from each, you come away with a different feeling from both.

Because you are you and because nobody ever did it better here or in the real world...This ones from John.

Dude, this goes completely beyond cornball.  The world is on the online and this guy goes into a dance routine.  Even the villian has cheesy lines and sounds stupid.  This shit is worst than Green Lantern.  Amazing Marvel can sell this nonsense.  I won't even go into Black Widow and Bow and Arrow Walmart Kit Man.

You have an invading army in the 1st Avengers movie with a battle taking place within one block of a city.

I give them credit for the last two XMen movies but they are a bit grounded or try to be like the DC universe.

Oh, I do give credit for the part where he grabs the cystal.  That was pretty good.

Korvac straight up kicked their asses.  Killed nearly all of them.

Another losing battle they faced was from the Legion of Unliving in the limbo maze.  Iron Man was killed and The Vision was nearly destroyed.

When I read DC Comics in the 90s, it always felt like the opposite to me. Almost every character pretty much had the powers of a god. That said, liked both for different reasons growing up, but only watch the movies these days.

Speaking of movies. Anybody catch these shorts? The first one is based on The Punisher and the second on Venom. Pretty well done in my opinion.
