Title: gym jealousy,it never ends
Post by: gracie bjj on October 27, 2014, 10:41:05 AM
gym jealousy is pretty messed up,saw a dude at my gym today getting ready for a show this saturday and the kid looked awesome.i told him he looked great and i said u r going to do great, so did abunch of other dudes but i could hear them saying shit like(hes drugged up to the max)(hes got no lower calves)(delts r to small) ??? honestly its like they where trying to tear the dude apart and imo the guy was pretty balanced and really lacked nothing, was hard as a rock, vasculer, not as full as i expected but he carbs up tomorrow from what he told me. hes 20 yrs old and looks awesome, its like people dont want to see another person acheive their goals.ive always tried to give people credit who r working hard at their goals,it takes a bigger man to give a person compliments than it does to talk shit about them and try to discourage them.even on these boards it seems the better built guys are less negative towards others and r quicker to give out advice and compliments compared to the guys who look crappy,i guess u better built guys r just happier and more secure people, thats the only thing i can think it is

lol,im always helping out the skinny kids that just joined the gym or the fatter dudes that look lost,i remember when i started lifting some of the monster dudes in my gym where really helpfull on giving me advices on form and diets, i figure ill just pass it forward and help out.bodybuilders can be worse than women when it comes to talkish trash on some guy whos competing,i can understand if the guy looked horrible than yes i understand the bad remarks, but not to a guy that looks awesome and did his homework

That's a really good point, it is the weak people with low self estemes who need to talk shit about others so they can feel better about themselves.

Did you guys see how many typos were in the OP's post. Damn, he sucks at formulating sentances and clearly has no idea what a paragraph is. What a dumbass. He should give up on forum posting right away.

Did you get the point of what he was writing or were you so focused on his grammar that you missed the point of the post entirely? If that's the case, than you probably need to brush up on your reading comprehension instead of spending your time criticizing others.

It could be jealousy, just as you suggest. Some people simply don't know how to pay someone a compliment or give them encouragement. It's a real shame.

Some people are just very insecure and can't accept the fact that someone looks better than them or does better than them in life so they start bashing the guy to feel better about themselves...Sort of like in grade school with the typical fat bully with man tits that picks on the smaller smart kid so he can feel good about himself

you know you are doing good when other guys starts critisizing you
i mean if you look like the average noone will give a shit
but as you start looking good you are identified as a threat hence the hate

Let me help you with this:

My first post I complimented him on having a good point. (I quoted his post as I was talking to him)

My second post I took a dig at him. (I did not quote his post like talking behind his back)

This was to reflect what he said in this thread. The people told him to his face that he looked great, then behind his back they talked shit about him. I was making a joke about that. I assumed it would be more obvious. Hope this helps to clear it up.

It's been proven that I sometimes miss the joke. Thanks for setting me straight on this. My apologies to you.

If I have something to say about someone, I will say it to their face. This has never been a problem, since more often than not if I don't have anything nice to say, I will say nothing at all.

I think anyone under 25 saying shit like this is pretty normal. Once people are over the age of 25 ripping a kid apart, then you can really see mental illness in other people...

I know several guys in their 30s and 40s who were ready to rip others apart with the "steroids" comment when I pointed out they have good physiques.

Same thing happened to denarii when he lifted the whole stack on the lat pulldown for 1/2 a rep.
