With all the breweries popping up this beer is beginning to be treated like wine and paired with food. Also, beer cellars are becoming a new "fad".
Lake Placid
Great Divide
Sierra Nevada
Stone
Great Lakes
Captain Lawrence
Ballast Point
Sasquatch Brewing
Rogue
etc. etc.

I use to. And for many years. Nowadays, I tend to drink every once in a blue moon ( due to my use of supplements ). Have some homemade apple moonshine sittin in the fridge at the moment. 8)
Favorite craft beer is anything Belgian. In particular, blue label Chimay. Mmmmmmmmmmm. The best !!

Can't realy call Stone or Ballast point Craft Beers anymore. They are full production breweries now. I like to go to Green Flash or White Lightning for lunch and a tasting. been to either?

Hey, Had a friend travel to Virginia and bring back some Apple Moonshine. Tasted like a Peach Schnapps. Busted his balls because we couldn't light it on fire. So I guess my question is, does all moonshine catch fire regardless if its flavoured or was this bullshit store crap?

High school friend of mine opened a brew pub near my house about 2 years ago. I never really was into beer until I tried his stuff. He usually has 10 to 15 beers on tap and are the best I have ever drank. Never had a bottled beer that tasted as good.

Be right back ( as I grab a lighter ) !! Haha !! I wish I could answer your question, my friend. That I am not certain.
And you must have read my mind while I was typing my last post, because, I, too, think that apple moonshine taste like Peach Schnapps !! And answer this for me, if you can ... does it also kinda taste like a brandy ?? Or is that just me ?? Mine has a strong alcohol afternote.

Dogfish Head 60 minute ipa. The best.

Lol, the guy pulls this jar out telling the story that he bought it in the woods of Virginia and how we need to watch out because its so strong. We were all expecting it to taste like lighter fluid but nope...tasted great.
Haven't been to Green Flash, but I have been to Sierra Nevada, Stone, Great Divide, Southern Tier, and some small one in Pennsylvania that only sells in Penn and Ohio. I believe their bottles are non-returnable which struck me odd. Can't remember the name.

It's probably real moonshine, that has been cut to 1 part moonshine 2 parts apple cider.
As far as beer, Aventinus is the shit.

Dogfish Head 90 you mean..... ;D
Dogfish Head Pumpkin right now - $11 for a four pack is a little steep though.
I like craft beers, unless it's after a ball game, then bud light works better since it's mostly water...

Yep. I live in the pacific nw so we got tons of microbreweries. I rarely drink alcohol but my good friend is really into these beers so usually when we hang out I drink some. He's a big beer snob. We never drink national brands except maybe to take some on a camping trip. Don't think I've had a Budweiser since I was 21.
Just had some Dead Guy ale last week. :D
