Post by: gibberj2 on February 21, 2006, 10:50:11 PM: can't compare the 2. arnold had long retired to go be super-rich. arnold was 28 when he retired! he could have gone on 8 more years easily and nobody would have touched him if he really wanted to apply himself to bodybuilding. in 75 he as i understand wasn't gonna compete but changed his mind cause of pumping iron. if he had had it in his mind to compete all along and had wanted to train from the very start he'd have been bigger and better in 1975.

I think you're justing being contrary , either way Lou had two cracks at Arnold and failed , and Lou at 300lbs did dwarf Arnold but most of the extra weight was in the form of a nice giant gut and plastic shims in his calves !! :o
