Title: Gym Cat or Dog?

Did you ever train in a gym with a gym cat or gym dog?  I used to train in a gym that had a Siamese cat.  I think it died and was promptly replaced with a new Siamese cat.  How unique is this?

I lift in my garage and have two cats. Both are lousy spotters.
