Title: Every newly elected GOP senator ran on Repealing Obamacare
Post by: 240 is Back on November 05, 2014, 10:20:09 AM
(CNSNews.com) - Every newly elected GOP senator who won in last night’s election campaigned on repealing Obamacare. Sens. Cory Gardner (R-Colo.), David Perdue (R-Ga.), Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Sen Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.), Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), Sen. Mike Rounds (R-S.D.), Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) all ran on a platform of repealing Obamacare.

Can they?  Will they?

this is true.

Unfortunately, especially when its so unpopular with the public.

Well, guess thats why we dont live in a democracy, because then the public would actually get a say in what happens.

i thought we lived in a republic.

Only when it serves someones point of view do they make this argument.  When its something they don't like they complain that politicians are ignoring the will of the people.

So what does that say about the American population, that most Americans want Obamacare repealed?

It says that they don't like paying more for an inferior level of protection.  That they don't like to be forced to purchase something by a Dictator.  That they don't like paying a lot for something that millions of people are getting essentially for free.  That they don't like an incompetent (and proven corrupt)agency like the IRS being the enforcer of this federally mandated mistake.
