Title: "Entertainer" candidates in 2016 Primary Prez races
Post by: 240 is Back on November 07, 2014, 04:52:32 AM
I'm totally not looking fwd to the skewed coverage that fox, cnn, and msnbc always give the idiot "entertainer" candidates.  I mean, Herman Cain wouldn't answer anything on Libya, using "9-9-9" to answer questions on foreign policy.  That's madness.  That's horrible. AND PEOPLE DEFENDED IT!   Now IF Cain had a brilliant policy proposal on foreign affairs, he certainly would have explained it.  But by changing every conversation in the ten important areas, into a convo on the 1 thing he was competent on - and media letting him SLIDE on it? -  that's madness. If you're not a complete candidate, then just admit "i'm an awareness candidate on a single issue" and get the fck out of the race so actual viable republicans can enjoy that airwave impact.

Even worse is the crappy coverage given to candidates who never intend on running, and grab all the headlines to promote their reality shows, etc.   Trump flirting with his bullshit cost Perry, Huntsman, Bachmann and Santorum a TON of airtime in 2012, and Trump never planned on running.  Totally screwed the GOP there.  most people never got to know Bachmann because we had Trump, Palin playing footsie with running.

Screw them, STFU and let the people get to know actual candidates.  imagine Ron Jeremy and Clint Eastwood toying with the media in 76 and 1980, and Reagan missing his slot because media clogged it up enough with idiots that Bush1 went ahead and slid into the 1980 or 1976 nomination :(    Obama might have LOST in 2012 if America really got a chance to get to know the GOP field - the actual candidates.  Trump, Palin, and other flirting TV stars took up WAY too much time on all the networks in 2012.   I'd hate to see Palin, Trump, and a bunch of other goofballs cost Carson and others a chance to explain their vision to the American people.
