He looks like a smaller version of me..

They should put on the cover of FLEX as the next Mr. O, and we'll see.
-
He'll do really well if he don't get out of control with the ole' igf & growth. Great lines!

too late....

He looks good and will keep improving untill he starts reading his own press clipings. He's got along way to go before he can even be mentioned in the same sentence as the 3 above bodybuilders. Well see in 5 years if he's still getting early call outs.

Maybe Flex and Levrone but not Shawn, he was even younger when he turned pro and the most consistent of all time.
-
MAYBE, BUT THE SPORT WAS BETTER WHEN THOSE THREE WERE COMPETING. IF TYOU TAKE THE BODYBUILDERS THAT HAVE NEVER WON THE OLYMPIA, LEVRONE HAS HAD THE BEST CAREER. 4 TIME RUNNER UP AT THE OLYMPIA AND 2 TIME ARNOLD CLASSIC SHOW + I BELIEVE THAT HE HAS 20+ VICTORIES TO HIS CREDIT. FLEX AND SHAWN HAVE HAD GREAT CAREERS AS WELL. THINK FLEX WON THE ARNOLD A COUPLE OF TIMES.

those arent the best pics to use as examples....

Shawn ray was way ahead of Phill when he was 21 years old.. Phill 26 years old now and he's only now just made it as pro.. If he turned pro at 21 or 22 years old then maybe he could have a chance of surpassing shawn, but he does not have good v taper like shawn, and does not have a pleasing look like shawn either..

Phil has potential to take his body up a few notches as where Shawn hasn't changed since he turned pro.

Looks like he works out ?????

phil just got a later start then shawn...i think he did about 3 state shows in colorado then went to jr. nationals and took overal, then usa overall....dont get much better than that.

Has very good odds to do well, has magazine appeal and good build.will not win olympia but could do well at noc or san fran type of show's,and shawn and leverone for their era's won show's at pro level 1st year out ,very tough to do nowaday's.

He has the most potential of any new pro. It's about time someone of his caliber came through. There have been no new elite level pros coming through in the last 5 years or so. Branch Warren is perhaps another but I wonder how much further he can take his physique. Heath is very definately the man.

I agree hes a really good new pro and has a good structure so i think his future will be bright. But his structure isnt qute as good as shawn or kev and as for flex well heath will never come close!

To slam the dude because he is 26 years old is insane. Let us take a look at the most recent Mr. Olympia...a man considered to be the freakiest human to ever walk the Earth (except for a few Dorian nutsuckers like ND).... Ronnie Coleman. If you look at Ronnie's physique at 26 years of age, he was big but not even a shell of what he is today. Remember, the man worked fulltime as a police officer till his late twenties/early thirties. His body responded to heavy training, incredible eating and loads of sauce. Give Phil Heath a few years and he may be there. He has a hell of of a lot more potential than the German waterboy Wolf. Branch is awesome, but shorter than Phil and is not as symmetrical. Heath will be tough in five years if he stays focused. Then again, if Ronnie wants to disprove all the naysayers he could be hangin around for number 14.
-
What is a "better" bodybuilding career then the three icons you listed? Winning the Olympia? They all had great careers and continue help the industry. Phil's more then proven himself in the NPC ranks, give him some time and he will do the same in the IFBB.
Look for video clips at http://www.phillipheath.com in the coming weeks as we follow his rookie season.
LIFT
Bill Comstock's photos do the man justice...

Don't be so sure. Levrone's structure wasn't the absolute best - his torso was quite long - but at his best he just totally outmuscled Wheeler with a density and thickness that Flex couldn't match. Dorian had a supposedly inferior structure to Wheeler too but blew him away as if he were a little boy. I would say Heath's structure is right up there and won't hold him back.

Who woould have thought six years ago he would be the King
-
He already won an Olympia so...

Shawn and Kevin are better

Well, you were kinda right. He deserved to win in 2010, but didn't.

No he didn`t, and I hate Jay`s physique

We shall disagree---Phil had Jay from the back, Phil's detail killed Jay...

Yes and yes on the above but Jay dwarfed him, especially just standing there, he was wider and thicker big time, now in 11 Phil was fucken puffed out big time, despite the only 5-6 lb Phil gained it looked like 20lb and Jay was out-classed and Jay did not out-mass Phil enough to make up grounds.

How many Mr Os did shawn kevin or flex win? Oh thats right, just saying. :o

This is true, but damn the competition was a thousand times better back when they were all in their prime.

I don't think so, unless he stays at the top of his game for a very long time. There are not enough high profile shows these days to build the resume of a Kevin Levrone, Shawn Ray or Flex Wheeler.
