Title: cordless bluetooth earbuds for training
Post by: no one on November 09, 2014, 11:15:28 PM
so i didnt even know they made bluetooth cordless earbuds.

i bought a pair to train with. i was tired of catching the part of the cord that wasnt in my shirt on something when i bent over to grab a plate and ripping the buds out of my ear and looking like a retard which i dont need any helping doing in the first place.

they are awesome. highly recommend. good base response and sound quality. what i like the best is not having to carry my phone around. my gym is small so i can put the phone somewhere central and forget about it rather than having it bounce around in my pocket.

these are platronics. 1/3rd the price of the beats by dre. you can get them shipped off sites online to your door for $70.

http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/backbeat-go-2

only gripe i have is that the music gaps for a brief moment if sending or recieving txts which you shouldnt be doing anyway if your training hard :D. its not a concern if your phone is on mute.

just thought id share im sure there are other people who will find them a pretty good practical purchase.

I have Jaybirds Bluebuds X.

Spendy, but IMO best sound quality in a bluetooth earbud.

I have a Sonos system in my gym that just blasts what I want on it, sometimes directly from my phone.

Shit I thought those were hearing aids for deaf people - I've been taking the piss out of those dudes from like 3 feet away thinking they were hearing impaired. Best avoid the freeweights room for a few weeks while it cools down

Fucking dead serious mate, there was these two guys talking about dieting and one said "All i've had today is 2 coffees with one scoop of whey powder, but tomorrow I'm eating peanut butter pie until i'm sick" and I said out loud "Oh brother, I bet the peanut pie is terrified of those 14 inch pipes coming to snatch it off the shelf and eat 1/2 a slice and puke it out in the toilet  ::)" and then the guy was like "Yo Gal, let's get out of here we only have 4 hours left to do push ups before the pool party opens"

At least your not like the new generation of inconsiderate douches who use those bluetooth speakers out in public.  Are people just that fucking numb in the brain?

I pay no more than £5 for earplugs

They dont sound that much different than £200 ones.

I have these exact wireless earbuds, but without the charging case.  I only get 5 hours of batter life out of them though.

I use the plantronics in the gym and for cycling.

They are good but I lost an earbud and my replacement doesn't fit my ear as good. So it falls out a lot at the gym which sucks.

they arent loud enough in my experience.

plus earbuds in the gym dont work if u train hard..the sweat makes them slip out.

try not to follow the crowd and just go and train. no earbuds, no "individual music"... just train.

seriously, earbuds are for posers.

These are mine.

killer sound, killed balance, plenty loud. Only complaint is the 6 hr batter life and $170.00 price tag.

Also loved my Monster iSport earbuds,... they were $140.00 and I liked the sound curve a little better than the bluebuds, but they were corded and sucked when running.

Yep, I've never noticed much difference, but the most I've spent is £30 on a pair. I get through 2 to 3 sets a year somehow, so I'm not going to spend shitloads on them.

How they fit in the year is the most important thing for me.
