Yes, shades of "What is your exact location?"

As a lil manlet, I approve of this.
-
Next time ask for her bodyfat rate.

Only a manlet would care that she asked for height though

Good point, do you question his claim of 6'3"? I think it's a little suspect.

Though, in his defense, if you wanted to bring the pain to a war-pig, that's a way of jamming it into the conversation.
-

Not true. I am on the shorter side.
But it has more to do with the double standard that continues to exist in many areas (men are usually charged with DV or sexual harassment cases).
This has happened to me a few times. They will ask my height and I will tell them. Then I will ask them what type of body they have because the pictures only show their face. They FREAK out for no reason. She may have standards and want a tall man, and I may have standards and want a woman who is in shape. But its not okay for a man to have standards, but its okay for a woman, too? :-\ :-\ I think women think EVERY man wants them, and when they get rejected based on a physical appearance, they are not to pleased with it.
I mean, think about it, if a woman asked how tall you were and you answered, and she had pictures posted of ONLY her face, wouldn't you want to know what her body looked like? I bet if you asked, youd be called an "asshole."

I have him billed at about 5'8.5"

Very suspect. Being over 6', I've never felt that way when a girl asked my height. The girls that usually ask are 5'6 and above and don't want to be towering over a guy when they're in heels. It obviously struck a nerve with this short fella. Saying he's 6'3 reminds me of a 17 year old kid trying to buy beer and nervously says he's 23 when the cashier asks how old he is.

Definitely. Not necessarily lying but it takes away from the owning a bit.
-
Her: How tall are you?
Me: You won't be disappointed.

Yeah he's probably 6'2 in reality.

6'-3" isn't all that uncommon in the U.S.?
I'd imagine it's pretty commonplace in Germany and Holland too.
It's not likely the dude is 5'-1" like Lee Priest.

It's around 2 standard deviations from the mean height, so that would account for 4-5% of the US population

Yet...... ;D

Mean height of adult males, or entire population?
1 out of 25 adult males seems lower than I would have expected.

I live in germany and I would guess that about 15% of males at my age are my height or taller ( 6"3 )
-
Google says male height in the USA (mean +/- SD) is 70+/-4 inches. So 6'3" (75") is 1.25 SD above the mean which means you're taller than about 90% of male Americans.
Average male height in the Land of the Aryan Giants (Netherlands) is 6'1" :o

Male population.... average height in the US is around 5'9", and the standard deviation is around 2.5".
From what I've seen, that sounds about right. A true 6'3"+ tends to stick out.
EDIT: beaten by hulkotron. Seems the exact values vary depending on the source, but yeah basically 90-95% of the population are shorter than 6'3"

I recall reading a story recently about how "Americans are getting shorter" so 5'10" average seems high to me.
I saw Scottie Pippen (legit 6'7" in shoes) at a mall in Chicago when I was a teenager, he looked like a giant space alien. It's easy to forget how tall these guys are because we only ever see them on TV next to other really tall people. Even the "short" guys in the NBA are not short, for example Chris Paul is listed at 6'0" and Steve Nash 6'3". Both are probably exaggerated by an inch or two but they're still pretty tall by average population standards. Nash looks like a squirt on TV but he would tower over most getbiggers.
-
I'm 6'1" and it's rare that I see people taller than me. Sure there are some, but it isn't often that I have to look up to people. 6'3" is pretty damn tall.
-

Yeah I've heard about a decrease in the average height, I believe it may have to do with the growing numbers of Mexicans. Just look at Coach ;D.

Yes we need a rapid solution to this problem.

she should have asked if he believes that 1 gram of test is the sweet spot.

5'10 - 6'3 is optimum pussy pulling height. Tall enough so women feel protected but not so tall that you get stupid ass "how's the weather up there" comments all the time.

The Dutch seem a lot shorter because they are prone to pouting.

Am I the only one that feels like talking shit to women online is a sign that you hate women deeply due to lack of contact with them?
Am I also the only one that feels no matter how cool an act is, it is immediately much less cool when you add a #phrase to it?

Yes but you must also remember this is a fat chick.
If she was attractive and a healthy bodyweight I would agree with you 100% though.

I agree 200%.
I am very misogynistic. I just think it is cringe on the internet to hate on women.

When I was in Berlin, I noticed that I didn't seem abnormally tall (6'3). Alot of the master race still walking the fatherland.

Pretty spot on. On the other hand...
Are you aware there is a statistic which claims that one in six men are gay? If you talked to 7 different guys today, 3 of them could be gay.

Nope that # at the end was over the top and pretty gay

Kinda makes sense, but also a secure man wouldn't give enough of a shit to have attitude about his height surely?

we're getting shorter, browner and our collective IQ is dropping a few points. I wonder why that could be?
I approve of the owning if true

Most men exaggerate their height. Very few people actually measure their height accurately so just rely on educated guesses to how tall they are - usually being generous to themselves by an inch or two.
A man who's a legit +6'3ft stands out in a crowd of people.
