Not really, but a similar thread was created about the Republican party when they lost the house and the senate.   :)

maybe, but that would really be a diss on Romney too.  He used the same guy, same plan, same results - Romney gave Gruber the map to the white house.

Repubs celebrated loudly in 2010 when they cleaned house... 2 years later, they shit the bed with a RINO.

IMO, they gotta stay hungry - they gotta keep climbing. Every single time they do this victory lap, they fall off quickly afterward.  how many "obamacare is dead" and "scott brown 41!" and "landslide obama!" threads did we see?

Repubs celebrate the big, long-term wins before they actually achieve them.   They get complacent.  IMO, they need to be hungrier than ever.  2014 wins were nice, but unless they resolve that RINO/TP beef in senate and develop a true UNIFIED vision for the party, it'll be another RINO vs LIB race in 2016... and the conservative base will stay home (just like they did in 2008 and 2012).

it's not something we're making up, it's happened twice.  We KNOW executive power is 100% All a prez needs now.  Congress might be irrelevant, to be honest, aside from the budget (which mcconnell is 5 minutes from folding on, to obama - congress has never vetoed a single dem spending increase under obama).

bottom line - get hungry, stop circle jerking, and boot the RINOs... NOW!
