Title: Ironman: Chris Cook
Post by: BayGBM on February 19, 2006, 04:56:31 AM
Someone at FLEX sure likes Chris Cook. He came in 10th place yet they gave him 30 pix in the flexonline Ironman gallery.  ???

He looks good.

It would surprise me if Flex were pushing him cause he looks a little more realistic than the mass monsters, who society deems as outcasts.

But we all know why you like him, GayBBM!  :o

Extract foot from mouth, lather, rinse, repeat; you would look less idiotic if you stopped making assumptions.  I have never liked Cook’s physique.  He is not ready for prime time.  Billy Wilmore had him beat a couple years ago.

Chris looks balanced and in great condition in that pic.

I've met Chris a couple of times, once after seeing him train at a Golds in Venice. A friendly, down-to-earth guy. I wish him well.

Yeah, I realise that, princess, but I couldn't find a pic of him that was half good in the 5 seconds I bothered replying to ur stupid statement.

He's no mass monster and I'm sure 99% of people in here will agree with me.

P.S I never try to "own" anyone. That's a gay-as-AIDS Seppo saying that we don't use down here in our great country.

It's all relative, sweetness. Dennis LOOKS way bigger, so that's all that counts. I guess I'll just leave it to the judges to prove me RIGHT.

Sorry about the rudeness. I guess my parents did a bad job raising me. I'll do my best to be a little nicer in future. Have a nice day, I love you.  :-*

Chris "-t Almighty that guy is soft!" Cook will never live down that horrible guest posing appearance.

Cook has failed to impress me, he always looks soft and he doesnt have great shape. His one strong point is legs and a flat stomach.

I just want to point out that I never said Chris has a bad physique. He does however look a lot taller than he is in actual fact, doesn't he? I thought he was somewhere in Quincy's domain, which is why he looks a little thinner than the guys like Dennis or Branch.

Cooke's has pretty good shape and balance with full muscle bellies; his has one main problem: conditioning. In show after show, the guy just doesn't seem to be able to get ripped enough.

That guest appearance will stay with him until the end of time.

I will never forget how unprepared he looked.  Looked like he had been off of training for a couple weeks on a KFC binge, then showed up on stage.  It was brutal.  He even looked a bit embarrassed to be up there.  I wonder if there were any boos in the audience?

He should have cancelled if he couldn't come in good condition.

That was a major fu.ckup........... :-\

I swear I'm the only one with the uber intact memory in this world

Chris refunded his appearance fee he was so unimpressed with his performance.

Not bad..

That's funny, rude but funny
What guest posing appearance did he mess up his career at?

Chris said in probodybuildingweekly.co m that he will (or has a plan to) be Mr. Olympia when he turn 32.  That is far from happening from what I c … he has a major issue in conditioning; and we all know the hassle Chris Aceto went through to get him in shape for the NPC.  He I think his body is just that way so he has to be extra careful when preparing and monitor frequently (maybe frequently to the extreme)

He was put on 25g carbs a day to get leaner and harder for 5to 6 consecutive days … and Aceto said he didn’t let him load (500g) until his voice changed because of exhaustion caused by the low carb (his hassling was the worst)

Age will make his metabolism slow down (which is a benefit for some guys) and will be able to maintain his condition for longer.

Definitely not the great white hope … and will not win the title or maybe any show in the next couple of years

Wish him all the best
