When I was a very little kid, I saw a set of "Junior Barbells" in a store. I think it was like a 25lb set. Ever hear or see of this?

when i had my home gym in my younger years id take all the plates outside on a nice spring day with no wind and spray paint them either shiny black or gold,they came out beautiful and made the gym look sweet again,it does make a difference in the feel of the gym when they r freshly painted

yup, there's a couple of junior sets out there york had a little hercules set and i think billard had one too, i started out at age 8 with a 70 lb billard golden triumph set... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

from early 70's bought at the foundry in pa who made them for billard.

my buddy was a skilled welder in my town,he built me a pair of squat racks similar to the ones in the pic u posted.he used truck rimes with iron steel posts,he said they would b able to withstand 3500lbs :o i told him thank u but i dont think we will ever get to test that claim ;D he also built me a support steel rack so if i couldnt get the weight up i would be able to just let the weight go down and the racks will catch them,kinda like the pins on the power rack but he made it in a rack type of thing. i would just position the 2 racks on each side of me before i started squatting and then id go up and down in between them,if i ever got stuck id just go down and the racks would catch the weight and i would just crawl out between the racks
