Lots of Muslim Extremists trying to cross the border = lots of dead Muslims, common knowledge among the ranchers out there.

Why would they come in from Mexico? Mexicans would slaughter them and not think twice. They would be really easy to spot too. The best way is to come in from Canada. They would probably offer to pay for the taxi  to cross the border and give them food money while they were at it.
