PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — Taliban gunmen stormed a military-run school in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar on Tuesday, killing 126 people, officials said, in the worst attack to hit the country in years.
The overwhelming majority of the victims were students at the army public school, which has children and teenagers in grades 1-10. Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the assault and rushed to Peshawar to show his support for the victims.
The horrific attack, carried out by a relatively small number of militants from the Tehreek-e-Taliban, a Pakistani militant group trying to overthrow the government, also sent dozens of wounded flooding into local hospitals as terrified parents searched for their children.

Obama/Pentagon's strategy for ISIS isn't half bad...
Very limited special forces + plenty of airstrikes + use enemy forces to do the ground fighting + blow up oil/grain to dry up their $ + let them freeze thru the winter.
Our troops don't die. Bad guys are just fighting for survival over there. Local forces taking the casualties. Not too shabby.

there are some "people" who think we need to have OUR BRAVE TROOPS on the ground, taking fire. I say, use the foreign troops. They're not as good, no way. but THEY live in that nation and they're fighting terr'ists on THEIR land. They know the language. They incur the losses.
Now I understand why repubs were so quick to blame/criticize obama, but so SLOW to say "Let's send in 100,000 ground troops!" - They'd be looking stupid now.
