Lyoto Machida looks like the quiet skinny version of Benicio Del Toro, but that was pretty cool. He sure doesn't look like much of a fighter, but that was badass.

I've had my ribs broken with a kick like that before but I think I was wearing a chest protector.

Machida was very respectful during fist bump to start the match, even gave the getbig thumbs up pose. He was super excited to win, but gave lots of respect to his competitor in speech afterwards.

Sounds kind of corny but the sportsmanship and respect is a huge reason why I love mixed martial arts. Machida is always a class act.

agree there. Seems like the most disciplined guys have the best teachers/coaches, and they all show great respect.
in boxing, you get the drama queen idiots like mayweather. Don't see much of that in MMA, thank goodness. Maybe that's why boxing is dying and MMA is so popular. MMA feels like much more karate than boxing. Humble winner, love to see that. Nothing more annoying than a punk refusing to shake hands, talking trash 15 seconds before the fight.

I agree ,that's why Mayweather makes $50.000.000 a fight and Machida 50K.
