I mean, if it is cool today, if it was cool in 2001, then it's cool in 2000, in 1900, in 1100 AD, etc.
In war, you can stab, shoot, detonate, completely pinkmist people and leave them to bleed out, but you can't torture them? You can starve by ending their supplies, you can let the elements kill them, but not torture?
IMO, torture has always gone on, and always will go on. Today's warfare really is a sissified version of centuries past. Goring each other with bayonets, impaling people for a slow 3 day death in front of the town with a spear up your ass... war was waaaay more horrific in the past. So any silly talk about "it's a new kind of war, torture is *suddenly* acceptable, that's crap - if it's okay to use it to stop a 9/11 (and it might be the case), then it's okay to use it to stop a Pearl harbor or 1898 USS Maine or whatever. And we should be open about it. And we can't get mad when the enemy does it too - cause they've been doing it in Iraq/afghanistan, just as we've been using it for the past decade. It's a sad part of war, but a part that's always been there.

some where hanging out the windows though and where able to breath but the heat was overwhelmig,one guy got rescued and told his story and said thats how he was able to breath by hanging his head out the window.he said he was ready to jump cause even though he was able to breath alittle the heat was unreal

when i was in working in hoboken on 9/11 i seen the second plane hit and saw the towers fall but couldnt see people jumping,they where falling but i didnt see them cause i guess i was to far away and there was alot of smoke

We have them cutting heads off people and flying planes at 600MPH full of fuel into buildings yet we are worried about their rights? The only thing they respect is cruelty and force. They laugh at our kindness as weakness.
I looked at the tower after the first one hit. It looked like half of Manhattan was on fire for two weeks with all the smoke. I often wonder if people knew how massive those towers were outside of the NY area? If they were filled to capacity with workers it would have been more horrific than it was. I was in Manhattan on day one and at ground zero on day two. At the time there was chaos and no accounting for missing people. A common thing with family looking for their loved ones was to hand out fliers with pictures of them. I still remember a father handing me a picture of his daughter asking me to help find her feeling helpless.
