people shopping for christmas presents

were knocked over like skittles

by an out of control garbage truck

what an horrific accident

multiple deaths

The truck travelled up Queen Street 300 yards and along the bottom part of George Square where Word War Z was filmed couple years ago.
A few eye witnesses on a Glasgow football forum I'm on say that some people were cut in two and decapitated as it hit the hotel on the square.
Horrendous to say the least.

There's all the Christmas lights up in that area and a carnival on the square including a big wheel so it must have been a horrific view for those on it looking down at the carnage below.

Horrendous tragedy.

Any report of what or how the Truck lost control.
Was it ice on road?, Diesel / oil , or Illness to driver.
