America does not have freedom. What is your definition of freedom because I guarentee Denmark is just as free or more free than people in the U.S. Taxes is a different story BUT, when they have 5 weeks vacation and a pension plan they win easily.

Let me break this down for some of you... If you have entry level jobs that pay a decent pay like that and that becomes the base level pay on a pay scale that causes inflation..
Which means everyone else who was getting paid more will still get paid just that much more.
You just can't raises the base salary of noneducational required jobs and expect things to stay the same.
For a society to work there has to be a good amount of difference in pay or ekse what's the point of further education? If I don't have to go to school for 4 years to make 60k a year when I can just flip burgers the. There is no point in advancing myself.
What you are supporting when you say "make a career out of flipping burgers" is in a sense supporting a welfare state.

Denmark had the highest taxes in Europe and way way higher then the USA.. So 20 dollars an hour really comes down to about 10 bucks a hour after taxes and that's just state level taxes.

I never stated our (the US) taxes were as high or higher than Denmark. I simply declared that we (US citizens) are taxed every single day of our lives and even after we die. I also mentioned that the USA has more citizens in prison than ANY OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.

Correct. They have just about the same level of freedom than Europeans, but the society filled by police brutality, doomsday preppers, rioting neeguls and every kind of crap in multiple layers and wall to wall. It seems that for the sheer number of people that the American serves per day; he should be paid more.
I don't eat at fast food places. But I know that it's busy as hell there.

In theory this is great but who pays for it?
When will the socialists run out of ink, electricity or raw material to generate beautiful toilet paper?
Is a worker in a repetitive and boring job under or overpaid?
What about the wages of other people who are doing jobs that are not as easy to replace?
These low skill jobs will die out soon when machines are doing the jobs no "human" should be doing.

The United States had good conditions for the Middle Class for so long because of the foundation laid by Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal.
The New Deal was a system regarding banking, labor, manufacturing, retailing, education, and other things, designed to cultivate a thriving middle class.
Then came the inflation of the late 1960’s and 70’s
This inflation was caused by a one two punch:
- 1) Vietnam was not run as an all out effort, because they were nervous of escalation to a possible nuclear exchange.
The result was that the Vietnam War became unpopular after 5 years because there was no conclusion in sight. So there was no move to have taxes at the level needed for the war effort. - 2) The run up of energy costs.
There was/is a cabal amongst the Right Wing in America who never liked the New Deal because it dissipated their power.
They seized upon the inflation as a means to ascend in power and attack the New Deal.
They elected Reagan and since then, have been slowly dismantling the things that have made the Middle Class thrive. Nothing can “trickle down” if there are no holes in the percolator basket.
