No kidding. :o
Uniform rolls around in response to a call and ... sees Diesel with a pissed gleam in his eye.
"Backup! I need backup!"
-
Probably a few too many cocktails at the family Christmas get together and things escalated from there.
No matter how much money a guy like Nash makes you can't take that little bit of hillbilly out of him.

They would have probably called for backup anyway considering it was a domestic.
Trained professional lawmen don't usually crap all over themselves over a man who made a living pretending to fight people.

By the sounds of it, the son was way out of line.

Hillbilly? I think he's from Michigan.

I guess the son just wasn't tough enough to take The Strap off the old man yet.

This will be settled at Starrcade in a Yappapi strap match.

This just reeks of a pro wrestling type work with a payoff at the end.

I think I'd know what "trained professional lawmen" generally do and don't do. ;)
But thanks.

They are on higher alert in any domestic-related call regardless of the size of the people involved.
-
Never heard of this guy, but judging by the Wikipedia photos he ages very well. Still tall, lean, suntanned, handsome face, great hair.
This in contrast to many ex IFBB Prostitutes...

Hillbilly? He's from Detroit.... not a "good" part of Detroit. Yes... there were good parts of Detroit back in the 1960's

Cops get the taser out much quicker when the subject is a bigger guy, believe me lol.
You ever even been arrested bro?
-

In my experiences with an encounter of this type, the size of those involved is VERY much a determining factor. In fact, in the models most North American law-enforcement agencies use for Use of Force, etc., factors to use in the decision-making are indeed SIZE, gender, known experience, escape routes, etc., etc. ... you get the idea.
Being alert and prepared has nothing to do with assessing the situation to better appropriate one course of action over another.
Please don't continue with your attempt to "fix" a statement that was deeply flawed from the beginning.

nash is arguably the most overrated wrestler ever
he was big, what else was he good at?

::)
Your statement implied that the first arriving officer would crap himself and shriek for backup, "Fortress." I simply refuted that so it was hardly "deeply flawed."

someone with better computer skills should put jim corrinettes' take on nash.

Actually now there is a "Nash's response to 'Jim cornette's take on Nash'" video.
I'll see if I can't dig it up. :)
EDIT: I think this is the video you're talking about. I can't find the Nash response though, maybe they took it down.

fascinating life:
Nash was born on July 9, 1959, to devout Christian family, in southwest Detroit, Michigan.[6] Nash's father, Robert, age 36, died of a heart attack on April 4, 1968 when Nash was eight years old.[7][8] On December 27, 1994, Nash's mother, Wanda, died after a four-year struggle against breast cancer.[1] He attended Aquinas High School, followed by the University of Tennessee, where he majored in psychology and minored in educational philosophy.[9] At the University of Tennessee, Nash was a center for the Tennessee Volunteers basketball team. He remained on the team from 1977 to 1980, during which time the team made it to the NCAA Sweet 16.[10] Following a physical altercation with head coach Don DeVoe and a series of other on-campus incidents, Nash did not play a fourth year for the Volunteers,[9][11] and he attempted to transfer to Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Nash reconsidered his options and instead moved to Europe, where he played basketball professionally for various teams.[1] His career ended in 1981 in Germany (while playing for Gießen 46ers) when he tore his anterior cruciate ligament.[11] With his basketball career over, Nash enlisted in the 202nd Military Police Company in Giessen, Germany and served in a secure NATO facility for two years, during which time he was promoted to the rank of specialist. After working on an assembly line at Ford Motor Company and as the floor manager of a strip club in Atlanta, Georgia, he decided to try professional wrestling.[9][12]

Interesting, didn't Nash use to be in a tag team known as the skyscrapers?

I think Big Show had a similar background. Played a little basketball. Kicked around a few side jobs before finally giving wrestling a chance.

Fuck Jim Cornette...other than a nice run as a manager of a heel tag team in the 1980's to early 1990's , WTF has this guy done to earn the cred people give him? He failed at running a promotion, sucked when he was booking WWF, got fired in WWE developmental because he acts like a five-year old with co workers and then he got fired by TNA and ROH. He's worked his way through every possible promotion in the US and found lasting success in none.
He talks shit about everyone else but he's accomplished NOTHING of any lasting value...
