Sporting a tiara in a photo posted Wednesday, President Barack Obama seems to have broken his own rule of “you don’t put stuff on your head if you’re president.”
But that’s the power of the Girl Scouts.
White House photographer Pete Souza shared a photo on Instagram on Wednesday of the president donning a tiara with a group of Girl Scouts from the White House Science Fair earlier this year in May. In the caption, Souza wrote the girls from Tulsa “convinced” Obama to join in on the fun.
“Still editing 2014 Year in Photos. I may include this one even though it’s a posed photo. This is from the annual White House Science Fair,” Souza wrote. “The kids from Girl Scout Troop 2612 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, convinced the President to wear a tiara with them for their group photo. The girls had exhibited a Lego flood-proof bridge project.”
However, during a ceremony at the White House in 2013 where he presented the Commander-in-Chief’s trophy to the Navy football team, the president declined to try on the custom football helmet.
“Here’s the general rule: You don’t put stuff on your head if you’re president,” Obama said at the time. “That’s politics 101. You never look good wearing something on your head.”

We get your spin, we get the bias sites you quote from, etc. I can't count how many times you've quoted something Rush supposedly said that wasn't true only to pull a direct quote from his own transcripts only to prove you wrong. You know you can pull a quote from direct from the site but you pull from a site you know is liberal bias. Let's take the these articles you just posted. What's the backside to these stories?
