He seemed for the most part he he trained on a three day conventional split of chest and back, legs and delts and arms. Used 5 sets of 12 for most exercises. He said he tried training with heavy weights but got more out of volume.

When Danny is standing alone, it's hard to tell what height he is due to his superior proportions. Got robbed too many times in shows.

Danny was the winner..

Yup.  Padilla in first with Platz in second.  Dickerson's win was another travesty of "justus" in the IFBB.

Correct. I trained with Danny for 5 weeks during the summer of 1977 and this is how we trained. 4 exercises for  most body parts, 3 on smaller body parts, 5 sets of 12 on everything and the split mentioned above. He would loose size and weight between competitions, scale back his training and then build back up for a show.

Danny is still a personal trainer in Rochester.

And yes he was robbed many, many times. Franco beating him at the 81 Olympia was a joke.

Danny was 5'2"...maybe 5'3" at most. Franco was the same height as him, yet claimed to be 5'5". Laughable.

was it 5x12 with a constant weight or would you start light and add weight or start heavy and lower the weight each set?

PLEASE! Grow up or leave the forum :D

Go buy celltech! U seem to be a person who like to be buttfucked by the companies! If u got a prescription from your doctor being retard, I regret my words. But and grown up adult man with functional brain shouldn't ask these kind of questions.

About Danny! I don't even discuss bodybuilders under 5"....its a midget...MIDGET! Only time a midget can make u go wow is when he take his pants of!

Great bodybuilder, amazing muscle bellies and proportions, great shape, decent structure also, although not very wide... One of the very best short bodybuilders with Benaziza and Labrada...

THIS "was it 5x12 with a constant weight or would you start light and add weight or start heavy and lower the weight each set?" We are all mature men here, we all know this is an absolutely irrelevant question for building muscles!

you sound like a child

I didn't ask for your opinion on "building muscles"

I specifically asked the person who trained with Padilla how THEY trained

I believe Max Rep said it was the same weight for all sets when he trained with Danny. Maybe if he reads this he will comment.
