Title: I played a really mean joke on someone
Post by: Vince G, CSN MFT on December 30, 2014, 08:50:28 AM
Had a friend of mine who wrestles on the weekend and he was trying to come up with a wrestling name for a police oriented character.

I told him to shave his head and use his name Bull Connor.

Needless to say, he got some serious heat....... ;D

Well, it was some good heel heat.  I may help him out and come out to manage him with the name MLK Jr  or something.  I think it would really get some heads turning but only if the money is right

You can't leave it no matter how hard you try....just like Getbig.  Too many friends.  Most of time I help people with character development or operations.  I'll set up a ring and put out chairs for an event on occasion.

Venom Vince,

What's your opinion of CM Punk's transition from the WWe to now the UFC?

Will he fail?

Can he possibly have an MMA career at his age?

What are industry insiders saying?

He's a Gracie guy and a tough sob but getting hit in the face when NOT expecting it is very different.

Thoughts Vince?

He's a blue belt at best in BJJ (That's what Renzo Gracie says at the academy).

I think he is far too old to compete in MMA and doesn't have any real MMA experience.

It seems like another gimmick on Dana's part to steal WWe fans for the UFC.

I definitely want to hear what Vince's friends in the industry think.

Had an awesome Christmas season.  Made a tidy profit which I'm putting to great use.  Anabolic Mayhem has been on hold until yesterday as I had ran out of server space and I was having issues with my former hosting providers.   I not only moved all of my websites over to a much larger VPS server but I in fact bought an additional reseller hosting service.  In addition, all of my websites are now 300% powered by solar and wind power.

Next year, my new websites will be available....one is a medical supply company and the other one will be a supplement store.  Looking forward to 2015.

LOL Vincent if the money's right? Hahaha hahaha that's another great joke you're playing on us; if the boys are taking home $20 from a paying crowd of 500 how much will a manager get? Great work dude.

OMR most of the industry guys on the indy scene have no real sporting experience,  thus their predicament.

That said they probably think Punks a real shooter.
If he does well it'll give the UFC the image of a second class sport.

He's not some elite athlete transitioning into another athletic endeavor....
