Vince what got you into the sport and made you an "insider" basically what's your story?
-
Can we merge this with all of the other "insider" threads so that I will only have one thread to check for all the scuttlebutt regarding "the industry"?
-
How does this felon get on TV as an expert? I mean he Seriously knowingly sold fake GH intentionally right? Which makes him a drug dealer and a con artist...if that is all true
-
Ground breaking diet ::)
-
When did Dave earn his Pro card?
Diet is the old Leptin load diet of the early 70s. It works.
-
The man never earned a pro card.
He is not in the league of the Dan Hills of the world.
Love how the other twat refers to Dave as a "fitness legend".
So, let me guess this straight: guy boatloads illegal drugs for years and years, still can't get anywhere in any meaningful way as a bodybuilder, so he ditches the drugs, shrinks to common-man proportions, decides he has no other option than to remain in the industry, so he sells fart powder ...
And now he's a "legend"?!
::)

Ground breaking diet ::)
For the average person out there, it is lol. Everyone thinks they should be stuffing their faces with "whole grain breads" and "whole grain cereals" and whatever else that comes from whole grains. While in reality, Dave is right, you don't need that many carbs, especially if you're a sedentary person who just wants to lose a little fat and live a healthier lifestyle. To us, Dave's not saying anything groundbreaking, but to the average viewer its totally new and, in some cases, contradictory information to what they've been told.

I think she was referring to how Palumboism is named after him.
-
Dave met that chick in the green room where she proceeded to use the shit on his head to polish her shoes to a sun like shine...
-
he forgot to tell about the fake GH that he sells.
-
it is also visible that dave is a psychopath since he keeps staring in her eyes without looking away.
-
"Professional bodybuilder and fitness specialist Dave Palumbo"
"Insurance policy in a bottle"
::)
-
Would have been great if she said "oh Dave Palumbo, I've read about you on the boards. I have you in my top 3 in the Getbig 2015 Death Pool. How bad are those kidneys?"

He came across well on that show. His diet may not be groundbreaking but it does work!

Correct
-
CNN and Fox News would never have called him a Pro.

CNN and Fox News would never have called him a Pro.
Why would they be less clueless about bodybuilding?

CNN would have. Fox would have done a fact check and call him out on it😃

Carbophobia has been around for awhile now. Replace "carbs" with the word "food" in your post and there is the answer. People overeat in general. That's what people don't want to hear.

Palumbo gets very good growth taking what he takes

So they invite Palumbo on the news to give advice on how to make a "healthy lifestyle change"?
For the record: Palumob was the coach of Bostin Loyd.

Bodybuilding and a healthy lifestyle arent exactely synonymous.
-
Why would they be less clueless about bodybuilding?
My rationale is that major media are more likely to pay attention to detail with this type of stuff.
-
I got visible abs and veiny as hell without those supplements and eating only 30 grams of fat per day. :D ::)
High fat diet = sluggish mind and body.
The body needs carbs, high carb + low fat = the diet of every Olympic athlete. Show me one Olympic athlete that follows a low carb high fat diet.
High fat diet (over 60g per day) + high carbs = recipe for type 2 diabetes btw.
-
CNN would have. Fox would have done a fact check and call him out on it😃
Maybe, but only in case he's a liberal voter.

I believe it's best to follow multiple sources for an informed opinion, not just the mass media industry.

Im interested. How do u get healthy fats like fish oil and such following said diet

I agree that's why I used both Fox news and CNN as examples.

Eh.. low carb works well for me. I like fatty foods, never count calories, always feel satiety when eating keto-style. Every time I try a carb-based diet I'm constantly hungry, on keto I'm rarely hungry (and being an endomorph this helps quite a bit). To each their own I guess, but I like the "Palumbo" diet aka high protein/mod fat/low carb diet.

Yes, the Mccain 2000 crowds we saw in 2008, of the (D) next to all those disgraced (R)'s are proof of that lol.
-
Everything in moderation and train your ass off.
-
;D ;D
-
Does the station provide the shoe polish or does Dave bring that with him?
-
How does Dave get so fucking lean and hard?
Looks very unhealthy. Like he's made of stone or something.
-

If you eat a good few portions of fruit and vegetables every day that will provide enough EFAs at the correct ratio of omega 3 and omega 6.
If you load up on macadamia nuts or almonds thinking that you are getting "good fats" then you are wrong because nuts are loaded with omega 6 and have very little omega 3. So your ratio is going to be totally out of whack and it's common knowledge that your omega 3 and omega 6 intake should ideally be at a 1:1 ratio. Anyway if you take a fish oil capsule that will DIRECTLY provide the nutrients that we need EFAs to make, therefore you don't even have to worry about your omega 3/6 intake if you are eating salmon every day or taking a fish oil capsule.
