any favorite gyms you like in/around Boca Raton, FL?
going there for a month long trip for work and surely there must be something more than planet fitness and curves but thats all I can find..

The golds ,I think its the one in davie(lauderdale,same area)used to behuge in the early 90s mike quinn,the top pro that did the robot,the huge am.that had kidney failure(just getting up cant think yet)all the s.fl.guys from the 90s trained yhetr.think its dtill thete.

I thought that golds was gone, and the only one left was in Deerfield? Anyone ever been to powerhouse is pompano?

Shit. Was just down there.
There is a brand new LA Fitness at Linton and Congress in Delray.
Genova's Gym (Delray Fitness) at Atlantic and Military.
Probably about a billion more. Was surprised at how many out of shape fat fucks there are down there. Don't people have any pride?

Depends where in Boca you're gonna be. If you're out west, there's an LA fitness and a Busy body gym (former golds). In central Boca there's another Busy body (former powerhouse). I live east and train at Fitness Now (former golds).

The only Golds still around is in Hollywood, in the Oakwood plaza off of Sheridan St. and I95. The other 2 Golds are gone one in Sunrise and Pembroke Pines.

You can go to the Athletic Factor in Pompano Beach on Sample Rd. and Powerline Rd. I know Flex Lewis trains there. I know there are 2 Busy Body gyms in Boca. One in East Boca one in West Boca. P.J. and Aaron train there don't know which one they go to.

You're right, I trained there back around 2011 or so. It closed shortly after that.

To find out where the gyms/bath houses are. Go to the beach and ask the two guys laying in the European cut, electric blue(Andreas Cauling Collection) wet look speedo's. They will point you in the right direction.

L.A. Fitness suck but there is a huge one at Yamato and I95. It is fairly new. I would say your best bet is Busy Body. The one up where I live , Palm Beach Gardens, is a good spot. Best gym in SoFla is Powerhouse on Okeechobee in WPB. Tom Prince and Amhad Hadar trained there. Good luck.

Agreed. LAs are ridiculously busy and pretty douchey around here. Busy Body was always a pretty good gym
