Not even the great Connie Roleman could present such a full thick head of hair like the wool of lambs.

Rick was very underrated.
Truth.
I thought he was more complete than Franco.
And he was a great writer. I really loved his articles and the expressions that he used. I laughed out loud when he referred to Franco as "Arnold's Sardinia sidekick."

Only old & melancholic farts wonder this question ::)

Good pair of arms, but... no delts :-\
Compared to today, no one in that era had delts. But for his day they, along with pretty much everything else, was pretty much there. He was a very complete and highly conditioned bber.

Different times, different standards, different drugs and dosages, uncomparable... Yeah lacked delts, but wasn't abusing GH and site injecting like a madman...

I'm not sure about different drugs if you're talking about AAS. I mean, what do we have now that wasn't available then? Only gh, slin and synthol wasn't used back then. Maybe some gh but I doubt they could get it reliably.
I think it's probably same drugs but just a lot, lot more of them. I remember reading that no one needs more than 3 amps (75mg/amp) of Parabolan a week during that era. Now guys, just recreational bbers, on the gh15 board routinely use 200mg/day.

Not sure, but probably some different exotic substances weren't available, with pharma GH, Insulin, and so on... And different dosages of course...

Golden age of those little pills made by CIBA Laboratories.
Every athlete was different. Different genetics, different reactions to the little pills. In those times, they were training, too.

Sounds like a contradiction to me.
Are you saying that guys like Arnold or Lou had no delts?

Looks like a sculpture, the way bodybuilding should be. Not a contest to see who can inject the most drugs & oil without dying.

Good pair of arms, but... no delts :-\
No delts compared to today's "standards" I guess. The same could be said for Arnold.
-
Midgets should never be rated! :D
I guess the same goes for Danny Padilla? ::)

Now, if therewas anyone I would want to look like, it would be Don Howorth!

I'm saying they all had delts. Just not to the extent they have now. Just like with the quads. I think Wayne, Arnolc, Waller... had great quads but it wouldn't compare to what they have today.
