Back in the 70's many bodybuilders trained for one contest for the year. They would use gear for 3 months then train without for the rest of the year. Now guys claim they are natural if they take off 6 weeks. I never seen such year round use as today. Most guys using gear today don't even compete it's just to look good walking in the club or the mall.

To his difference if some one is competitive they are always going to whatever they have to to get the edge over their opponent. It does take to far of a stretch that if you stayed on year round I could maybe not give that advantage.. That's just common sense

Arnold, Zane, Waller, Franco, Scott and so many others looked nothing like they did during the contest season three months of the year. They all went down in weight. If you were around during the 70's it was very common practice to train for one contest a year. Now I see guys who don't even compete use year round with periodic 4 to 6 weeks breaks. No, it wasn't speculation. I was there. I was in the gyms when bodybuilding gyms were a rare thing. It was also thought at the time you had a better response the less time you used during a year. The guys that cycled throughout the year had diminishing results from drugs.
Realize no GH or insulin was used. Stuff like anti estrogen, LH, thyroid, were rarely used compared today or even talked about. Even testosterone injections wasn't on anyone's chatter in the gyms. It was all anabolic steroids in pills and injections. Everything came directly from a US pharmacy or from a pharmacy in Mexico that you could buy off the shelf without a prescription. None of this black market counterfeit stuff we see today from China. If it was Anadrol 50 you could bet it was and pure from a pharmacy who got from the manufacturer. The only crazy stuff was veterinary horse anabolic steroids like Equipose. Equipose, if I spelled it right I believe was nothing but injectable Winstrol.
If you want to rationalize your use year round use go ahead. Believe what you want. ::)

eh, equipoise and winstrol are two completely different drugs. injectable or not.
injectable winstrol is stanozolol suspension (stanozolol suspended in sterile water). oral winstrol is just stanozolol.
equipoise is boldenone undecylenate (or undeconate... whatever)
*no time to check the typos/spelling errors. sue me.

not hard to maintain size and a high bodyweight in prison. you dont' do anything for most the day. even if you have a job, when you 'get home' to your cell, you're laying down 80% of the time, and you're always in a kcal surplus.

Look u old schmoe , just cause your old ass was alive in the 70's doesn't mean jack shit. U don't know if they were completely off one contest or not in the off season. They could be cruising on low dosages and just cause GH and slin weren't used back then is irrelevant
Arnold and company used as much as they could at the time , sure nothing like the change in the 90's and so forth but to assume they were completely off is naive

like most pro's, no?
except without all the drugs.
I had hrt test 200mg every other week or 300mg every 3 weeks when I was in, as well as t4 and occasionally insulin (had access to the oral diabetic drugs as well, but found them to be shitty I terms of side effects.) back in the day when redicat was in biz, you could get paper aas in as well.

Well, that's likely none of your business.
