Contrary to popular misconception, Islam does not mean peace but rather means submission to the commands of Allah alone. Therefore, Muslims do not believe in the concept of freedom of expression, as their speech and actions are determined by divine revelation and not based on people's desires.

Their submission to god is their biggest weakness which is being exploited by the wealthy in their region. Nothing in this world is more dangerous than a dirt poor oppressed religious zealout. They have nothing in this world other than their faith in God. You threaten to take that away from them and they'll have nothing so they'll do whatever it takes to keep it. Guys like Bin Laden took advantage of it. Most of these "upper leaders" in ISIS, Al Quessidilla, Hamas etc... know that and they manipulate these people into doing their dirty work. Yes, Muslims recognize Christ as prophet, but they also claim him as the coming Messiah that will come to destroy the cross of Christianity. Muslims do not believe in the Christian Trinity of God (Father, Son and Spirit). They fully deny the divinity of Christ and therefore deny the full essence of the Christian God. Muslims pray to Allah who has no partners. Jews and the first Christians identified Christ as a prophet, but also a teacher, the Messiah, the Son of God and risen Lord. Christians identify Jesus Christ as fully man and fully God.....coined under the term the hypostatic union.
Muslims also claim that prophet Abraham, prophet Moses, prophet Jesus were all Muslim and worshipped Allah(Allah....Elah....Elohim. ..some bridge the gap this way).
Christ said that before Abraham was I AM. I AM is the eternal name of God derived from YHWH.....Yahweh.....Jeho vah.

There are some many who are stuck in the 12th century, others in the 18th and so on.
The majority of the Arab world is akin to what Europe was around the 12-15th century. Illiteracy is high and the people have very little in their lives other than their faith. I don't even think some are bad people, just people who are stuck in a medieval thought process.
