She's very muscular for a woman, believe me, i've seen her live... Thick arms and legs, she also has a very "muscular" type of game, big kick-serve and huge top-spin forehand... Arms can rival Serena Williams, both juiced obviously...

Samantha Stosur from Australia. Very athletic, serves and. Olleys which is a rarity nowadays especially on the women's tour. Obviously in great shape

It's funny how in denial a lot of the tennis community is about PED's in the sport. I played a lot and read a few of the main tennis message boards. Nobody other than Nadal seems to arouse any suspicion at all.
I stood next to Stosur at the Brisbane Open last year. I would bet my house she's using something. She is carrying way more muscle than a woman should carry, especially in an endurance sport like tennis. She's gay though - she may have more natural test in her system....but I doubt it.

I know very little about tennis, can someone fill me in on how much lower/mid level pros make? Is it like bodybuilding in that it's not worth chasing "the dream" unless you know you're headed to the top?

up to top 300 is always a losing game
150-250 break even
150 -1 make money progressively more as you get closer to the top
There's also doubles specialists etc

Alot of the pro male tennis players have this, its quite weird to look at

Pretty crazy. Probably well shaped due to genetics but for being natural this is somewhat too much.

stosur has always looked like that from the start of her pro career. i highly doubt she is on any PED. if she was she would be atleast one of the strongest or fittest and she aint neither. serena is still the strongest bar none and she aint on PED

I agree with you about Serena. She is just a massive woman. I'd be surprised if she was using.
Stosur though - I've had a question mark about her ever since she was playing with Völkl, which is quite a while. She's gone through her 'dental braces' phase which a lot of GH users seem to go through, when I saw her up close I was surprised by how thick her skin appeared (granted - she spend a lot of time in the sun) - and how large her hands are. Tennis today - especially women's tennis, is all about the grind. You have to stay out there and hit and run and hit and run some more.
The first thought I had when I stood next to her was "How can she maintain this much muscle if she's doing all that running every day?". Maybe I'm wrong, but I've been around a few women who use to get ready for competition and she looked exactly the same to me.
