very true. Most people "get old" in the head first and from then on they are waiting for a death, even if they doesn't acknowledge that. I have some friends who are my age (under 30) and they already "feel old", I just can't relate, if anything I feel better than when I was 20, honestly, and aging for me is - getting better at all costs, in all fields, every day is a day to get better at something, I post on GB or browse bullshit (FB profiles of half naked men. no homo) in the moments of "relax", other time I'm constantly reading/coding/participating/moving/working out/communicating/searching for new ways to do stuff/etc...
Apply your brain power to anti aging field, you don't need to be a Ph.D to take fields like that these days, you only need internet and lots of time for reading.

My grandgrandmother hasn't worked a day in her life (for you it will be easy :D) and was not bothered by anything really, the nerves of steel (I have inherited some of that too), lived to 93 at a perfect health, till her spleen gave up one morning and it was lights out in a few seconds, even her death was not stressfull ffs.

Stress is the absolutely killer. Stress is tied to so many different diseases/disorders. I agree that a stress-free life is the best for longevity.

My job is my hobby, money is good and only getting better, I surround myself with interesting people, but I love being alone too, need time "with myself" like air so it is a good balance. A lot depends of how one is able to control the focus of attention, which things/thoughts you choose to concentrate on, everything else follows. Important things is - not to take life too seriously, more like a "game", keeping yourself calm and open to various happenings and events, kind of like watching a movie while playing the main role in it at the same time.

I think stress is the key here bro. My parents and grandparents were/are immigrants. I won't go in to detail but they worked in dangerous factories, lived in homes with lead paint, ate a lot of what we would consider to be shitty food and struggled to break out of poverty. My irish grandmother lived to be 99 and is the one who smoked into her 80's and ate the worst.
She never drove, had a physical job, was never overweight and lived a simple life.
