In this case, there is nothing to ruin.  The orginal Ghostbusters was/is the most overrated collection of shit I've ever seen.  Even when I was 10 or 11 I never understood that the fuss was about.  I remember leaving the theater on a hot, summer afternoon feeling utter disappointment.

LOL, an all-female GhostBusters would be like an all-female Oceans-movie, or an all-female spinoff of Suicide Squad, or an all-female Charlie's Angels (where even Bosley is female), an all-female Expendables or a female James Bond, it just won't work.
