Diesel's solution works, but next time chop your onions in a blender, ...and start chomping down on parsley to get rid of that horrid curry smell that probably coming off your ENTIRE body. :P

Doesn't need to be garlic. Parsley acts like an internal body deodorant.
But maybe you're right, ...parsley may not be strong enough to tackle curry. A nuclear warhead might be better. :D

The aim is to catch the onion on the way out, covering your fingers with shit which will overpower the smell of the onion on your fingers.

I usually get rid of garlic/onion by washing my hands with soap and water. Then I rub my hands or fingers on stainless steel (the sink or a knife, watch the blade!). Then rinse again.

Use tomato sauce. It takes the stink from skunks out dogs so it should work on that
