Never got the value. Arnold used to say that they "widened your ribcage". Did them for the first 5-7 formative lifting years and my fucking ribcage never got any fucking wider.

Pullovers are great, especially on a Moon Bench. Also, on the old Nautilus Pullover Machine.

I love doing them, just feels good to do. Will get a comment once in a while from the older guys how they never really see people doing them anymore. Would like to try them on a nautilus pull over machine sometime though

I do them on the pullover machine Dorian style. Just wish Leroy was there to call me diesel and shout slogans at me like "squeeze it" and "one more for number one"

I do them, though I have not yet figured out how to isolate solely my chest or my lats. Seems like I feel it in both places.

I did them at the start of my training,  my ribcage is pretty big now.
Pros: chest area volume is big now even with minimal training. cons: sometimes it can make it look like I've got a belly in a shirt if it's tucked in.

I do them just lying on a straight bench with a Barbell or ez bar not across a bench like most do dropping the hips for a stretch. This is where itīs more chest. Do it on a flat bench lying straight, concentrate on your lats..FEEL it use your lats.

I do them. Works lats and serratus really well.

Nautilus pullover is an incredible machine for lats. A really complete range of motion. Regarding the conventional dumbbell pullover to enlarge the rib cage I just have trouble believing that but then again the most incredible small waist huge rib cage guys all used the it.

Pullovers are a good chest finishing exercise.  Hits the long head of the tris, lats and serratus.  I love them.  The ribcage expansion theory is pure nonsense.

Nautilus, Hammer or that latter-day Arthur Jones machine line pullover?

Sure.  Good stuff.

With a DB?  Meh.  Modify the movement a little bit and it makes an excellent triceps exercise, though.  I can't remember where I first saw it -- I think it was some DC-oriented site -- but one of the members called it a PBJ Pullover.  Or PBR.  ... hmm.  No, that's not right either.  SHIT!*

(*Suffice to say, the movement was coined capital p-something "pullovers."  At least, I think so.  RJR Pullovers, NPR Pullovers -- whateva-da-fuck.)

I'd certainly never do any variation of pullover to "work chest," though -- that's for damned sure.  I know Arnold did and Arnold's the man, but sheeeeeeeit ... if he made a mistake in fucking some fattish Mexican maid, whose to say he made each and every perfect choice in his training, and/or his training "advices" (shudder)?

Nautilus PO machine has to be in the conversation for best machine ever.

Dumbbell POs have never done anything for me, can't feel shit.  Gayer than wearing a condom.
