Any of you guys do this? I've been running/jogging for years, then did HIIT for awhile, started hiking a couple years ago just for something new and I swear it burns more fat than anything.

Nature is hard! Try nature with a lot of hills, forest and mountains. 5-6 hours walk. Most people cant handle it!
Soon u realize how much energy it takes to bring your body above sealevel!

I did a 9 mile hike yesterday up 2 mountain peaks that are right next to each other, my legs are so damn sore today. Three hours of that is more than any cardio I can do in the gym.

Put a 45lb rucksack on your back and go. Incredible for conditioning.

I hike often. I like it better than being indoors. I run trails as well.
Something about being outside in the sunlight that helps me mentally let go of stress.
Probably has to do with absorbing all those positively charge ions being emitted from the star at the center of our solar system.

it's been perfect out here in Phoenix like mid 80's. But in the summer it's already too hot out by 10am

I too am a hiker. Much more in the past. I'd home more if there were slutty broads in yoga pants doing lunges down the trail.
But seriously, I do want to get some decent hikes in this year. Any of you homos in SoCal. I'll be going to mt San gorgonio/ San Bernardino and maybe some in the sierras if you think you can hang with this fat blob pm me
