Where you go Lake Havasu?

I heard the best day of your life is when you buy a boat and the second best is when you sell it  :D

Yeah, I go off road with my truck around to the back of the lake to get away from all the people, you can camp and fish out there too and some nice cliffs to jump off. Unfortunately I don't have a boat yet.

What kind of maintenance cost are involved?  Sea salt is very corrosive, and if I am not mistaken you have to repaint the bottom often, is that the case? What kind of quality "vag" are you pulling with this thing?

here in the northeast a lot of owners pay to store your boat over the winter

My boat has never touched salt water.  I take it for a regular tune up before the season starts 300-500, depending what need to be done.

Its such a pet peeve when people refer to their cars, boats, etc, with the word "her."  ::) As though its some living entity. "Ive had her for 20 years. Shes my baby." Okay, get a grip on reality.  :-\ :-\

Its something of a nautical tradition or so my father told me and he had command of three vessels when he was in the Navy.  But I can see your point of view because sometimes some things can reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeally be annoying.

When taken too far the personification of inanimate objects is one of those things.
