Very inspirational to look like that at his age. Well done, Vince.

he's definitely at least 6 feet tall. Wonder how much he weighs in that photo. he doesn't train legs, I bet. He blew out his quad a few years back.

It was awesome during the Attitude era and still pretty badass from around 2004-2006. However, it has failed to reach those heights since. There are a couple of decent characters currently, but it isn't really worth watching at the moment.

It's a public company, now. So, Vince has to put up a front of a corporate image.

In reality, Vince has always tacitly encouraged the wrestlers to be as big as possible [wink]. As a promoter, he knew the public wanted to see larger than life characters.

That said, Vince is a one-of-a-kind dude with balls the size of grapefruits.

If the upcoming Wrestlemania can sell out a 100,000 seat stadium, it's not going down in flames. Far from it. As long as they can keep bringing back old stars for appearances, and still be able to afford to pay their fee, the business isn't going anywhere.

But the current product is very lame.

Rumor has it Vincent is the most feared guy in the WWE,  no one,  not even Lesnar, has ever gotten the best of Vince.

I did hear Brett Hart once caught him really good with a suck punch (in retaliation Vincent "allegedly" killed his brother Owen) but this is mostly hear say and no one's heard from Brett since the incident.

Wrestling was white hot back then. This was during the Monday night wars with WCW. WWE was doing whatever possible to stay on top, including segments like these. You even had women as old as 75 getting powerbombed off the top rope through a table(Dudley Boys)

Whether this was punishment to the wrestlers is a different story. I just think Vince gave them extra $$$ to do it.

My grandmothers favorite tv show, never misses it. She's over 80.

^^^That's pretty amusing to read that an 80 year old women tunes into Monday night wrestling....

I'd like to see Ted Turner or someone else crazy enough with money to blow on such a thing come in and buy it out once the stock gets down to being virtually worthless - then scrap everything and start over. I haven't watched a half hour of this WWE shit in the last decade.

The funny thing she's like "Why the hell do you need all these muscles?" and later on rushes to watch Cena and other guys.  ::) Talk about hypocrisy.

heck.. what about SHANE-O-MAC who had daddy's money locked up could be sitting on some deserted island somewhere doing CRAZY shit for someone without much experience

I didn't believe the crazy risks he would take considering he was Vince's son, but I have to give him mad props.

He'd have been Jeff Hardy with GOAT mic skills if he actually trained

I dunno.  Triple H seems to be passionate about the business.  Plenty of worse choices out there for her.

Megalomanics can only think of themselves. HHH fucked him over and Vince had to take it on the chin because of his daughter. He'll make his son and daughter super rich when he passes. But i'd bet the house he takes down his business before or when he goes...Nobody ever gets the best of Vince McMahon. Imagine the amount of talking behind his back he had to endure when H3 moved in on her and started to court her. Most people would eventually move on and do what's best for the family and let it go. But not a Megalo. Those dudes hang on to it for life and never let it go.

Will be interesting to see how it all plays out. There was tape of Vince being asked the question about the future of the WWE when he's gone and he stated something to the effect-maybe i'll sell it all off and get into politics before I go. Not one mention of the family...Another thing to remember is that Shane McMahon has two sons and I believe Shane's sister has all girls. If Shane doesn't want any part of the WWE, would a guy like Vince McMahon really leave it all to HHH and his daughter knowing that they would either run it into the ground or not have a boy to carry on the tradition? CAn't imagine him leaving it  his daughter who doesn't have a boy to leave it to...

Then of course if Vince goes before his wife, his wife could just sell it all off. Look what happened when Aaron Spelling died. His wife Candy basically took over all his assets and she cut off Tori Spelling...I believe she gave Tori like a million bucks and she blew it in less than a year or two. lol

He is a fascinating and polarising person. Somethings I truly dislike about him but I admire his ruthlessness and he epitomises the alpha male.

Here is a clip of him running to the ring, tearing BOTH QUADS when sliding into the ring and sitting there, no-selling the injury to complete the rest of the scripted segment. At his age, that is pretty badass.

Story has it he spent the whole evening sitting backstage watching the rumble on the monitors. At one point he said he probably should get up to stretch but he never did. The shows finish went a wry and, because time was tight,  he came sprinting from backstage, as he went to step into the ring his quads gave out.

Pretty amazing he acted like nothing happened.

The cover is heavily shopped btw.

Vince grew up with his old man in charge. He's known nothing but The Show.

Old school is right.

Despite some touch up work on this cover, he looks great.

Maybe perhaps when you're 69 you can follow your own advice without getting the shit kicked out of you by someone like him.

How did this end? He tore his quads and then played it cool. What happened after this clip ended? Was he stretchered away? How did they finish this segment?
