I think that this movie is very underrated. I know that it was not well received by audiences. But I think that was because "The Sixth Sense" was so damn impressive.

any other 10+ year old movies you wanna tell us about
-
This movie was the beginning of the end of M. Night
William Hurt plays his roll well, as he always does. Shame he hasn't done any big movies recently.

cool story bro. do you need attention?

M. Night Shyamalan tries to do all these movies with twist endings. Worked in 6th sense. Not so much his other movies.

Love that movie. Very dark and ominous feel. Anything with "dont go into the forest for we know not what lurks there" type of shit gets me fuckin hard

never saw it, joaquin phoenix slit lip annoys me to much to watch all his movies

I loved it, severely underrated, though would be ruined completely if you had been told the ending beforehand.was a far movie than sixth sense, I guessed the ending 15 mins in.
-
it was alright. might have been better without the twist.

This.
Twist ruined it for me

Very good movie. Def more of a drama then a scary movie. I think that was the issue with it. It was portrayed as being the scariest movie since.....(at least that is what the trailers were promoting). I liked the twist. Without it would have been a typical movie with good acting. A lot of his others have not been that good but this one was.
Hated the one with mark wahlberg in it because the end was so terribly done/cop out. Lady in the lake was also not good.

I like that movie and have watched it several times.

The twist at the end fucked it up as till that point, it was pretty good.
TBH I didn't really like any of M Night's movies even though he can add some nice touches. Even The Sixth Sense I thought was just decent, rather than amazing.
