Title: Stan should worry about Vinnie.
Post by: shrugman on February 23, 2006, 04:32:37 PM
Everyone is talking about Stan Mc this or that, but you forget Vinnie is making a comeback, after not being in the mix for 4 years, Vinnie took 5th in the Nationals last yr. And I think at being 38 yrs old, he is not wasting any time in the gym...from the people I know, that know him....he is back into the same mind set that he had before he got burned out, then stopped competing.

The great thing is, BOTH guys HAVE GREAT BALANCE to there physique, It should be an EAST COAST Vs WEST COAST for sure at the USA this year.

The only bad thing for Vinnie....he looses his fullness and leg size when he diets down to 198. If he can keep it together, Vinnie Galanti will win the lightheavy's at the USA.

Well, to compare the two...

Stan McQuay has send me numberous homophobic threats of bodily harm.

Vinny Galanti is polite on here and has classic lines with decent mass.

I'm gonna have to root for Vinny on this one.

Worse yet, I tried to apologize to the guy and got two more death threats.

For the first time in my life, I tried to apologize for joking (the joke was directed at jumpstart but Stan got mad).  So I felt bad for offending him (seemed like a decent guy) and wrote him a very sincere apology.

Then, Stan threatened to find me, beat me, etc.  AFTER I APOLOGIZED.

So I'm not a big stan fan.  That is all.

So lets recap for the fans:
1) Vinnie Galanti is a class act with a well-rounded physique and a winning approach to the game.
2) Stan McQuay is a mean spirited oiled up homo fukdoll with a penchant for making threats over the internet.
3) 240 is one funny son of a bitch.

Yep that sums it up pretty well! just dont give stan your email :D

Chick was THE cop.

Unfortunately, his job as the strip-searcher in a women's prison ended in a small "misunderstanding".  :o

No.  But that lube/bead with King Kamali incident made for a really good FLEX cover!

are you saying Chicks don't have what it take to play with the big guys ?

I tried posting this before but it never showed up...so sorry if this comes out 2x

Shrugman...thank you for your post.

Your right, I cant make 198 anymore...i get very flat, i look way better at 212.

I will not be in the lightheavy wt. class at the USA this year.
Maybe Stan and I will mix it up in the overall....that would be awesome.

I have meet Stan at most of the major shows throughout the years, and he has always been cool...and an awesome competitor.
Like always the USA will be a great show....

peace

A class act that Mr. Galanti is. No phony bravado or cheap shots at other competitors.

Thank you...no need for cheap shots....i'm a fan of bodybuilding too.

I dont know if any of you know this...but I opened a personal training studio 4 years ago, thats why I stopped competing....and yes I was burned out too.
I mostly train breast cancer survivors, individuals with MS...to business people.

I am not interested in training  bodybuilders, but if anyone in the NY NJ area needs a posing routine for their next contest....give me a shout.

peace

Vinny

I don't see what that as to do with Stan
maybe Im just slow héhé

my point simply was that guys like Stan or anyone else "in the limelight" can't hide behind a computer...And if they themselves make threats to aimless people on the net, it could turn out being a very dangerous route to take..And for what?

My point about Big Kev is if he would have no problem shooting it out to the death with the police, just what do you think he would have done to the likes of a King Kamili if they ever met ect...

So if Stan is making threats to guys on the net, How do you know he isn't threatening a "Big Kev"..I just don't see how anyone could do something so silly..

that's what made this email exchange so amusing for me.

After me acting like a skerred lil beyotch and apologizing, Stan STILL kept at it, thinking he was owning some little kid and continuing the threats for no reason that I can figure out.

Hey 240, maybe threats and intimidation are Stan's machismo way of saying he "likes" you.  You know he is of asian descent, perhaps it is customary in his culture to woo your man by telling him your going to kill him

As if 240 wasnt scared enough you hav to go tell him that :D

Dear Mister-I-called-Stan-a-Fag,
this'll be the last email I ever send your ass
It's been six days and still no response - I don't deserve it?
I know you got my last two threats;
I typed 'em perfect

So this is my letter I write, I hope you read it
I'm about to get head from my boy, I really need it
Hey Rob, I drank a fifth of Red Bull, you dare me to drive?
You know that book by Greg Loughanis “Taking the dive?"
about that guy who was gay but kept on hidin’ it
but ended up on a poolboy riding it?
That's kinda how this is, you coulda rescued me from flaming
Okay, I’m drinking jizz, not RedBull like I’m claiming

And all I wanted was a late night booty call
I hope you know I ripped ALL my Bob Paris posters off the wall
I love you Rob, we coulda been together, think about it
You ruined it now, I hope you can't sleep and you dream about it
And when you post I hope your fingers cramp and you SCREAM about it
I hope your conscience EATS AT YOU and you can't BREATHE without me
See Rob; {*screaming*
I'm trying to talk! Shut up punk!
Hey Slim, that's an NPC judge screamin’ in the trunk
but I didn't slit his throat, I poked his eyes out - even better
cause if he can’t see, then he might give me 1st at Nationals in November
Well, gotta go, I'm almost at your house already
Oh yeah, one more thing, do I look pretty in this teddy?

Violence threats are lame but I don't know that its really any more right to expect someone to swallow an apology from a person they know to be consciously aware of the fact that they are pushing the limits.

Its kind of like the mentality of "i'll believe in jesus on my deathbed".  Its a very conscious decision to avoid the "truth" in pursuit of living in the moment.

What I'm saying is your apologies are not a switch.  You've done this enough now for most people to know that its rarely accidental that you should strike a nerve.  How many times can a wifebeater apologise before he's just a wifebeater and not a guy who makes mistakes? :)

true, i know i tend to be all over the place with comments.  sometimes i type without thinking of the consequences.  With stan tho, it was a real apology, i didn't know he took the boards seriously and the hit was more on jumpstart.  to return my apology with a 'you don't F-ing know me, i'll come to your house, etc" was just immature tho.

You guys are really funny. Obviously, you don't know Stan McQuay. I worked with Stan here in California for a year at our offices. Always nice. See Stan at all of the shows - he has a great girl named Amanda at the moment.

As for Aimet - she worked for S.A.N. Nutrition at the show, and is cool - she lives here in the San Fernando Valley. She flew back on the nonstop flight back to LAX with us.

Interesting ... I wish them both well in their quest for that elusive pro card. Both have been cool with me, so I don't have a preference on which one.  Stan McQuay though was my very first interview a long time ago, when no one knew him, but Vinny's interview is coming soon too...

Ron, in your heart of hearts, will you be pulling for Stan or Vinny at the USA?

First of all, if you read any of the posts you would know that Stan didn't say anything to Vinny at all! I don't know where you get your facts from. Second, they are not competiting in the same class. Stan is going to be a lightheavy and Vinny is going to be a heavy.

I still don't see why he needs to call a nice guy like Vinny an "old ass cracka" or "spaghetti boy".

Yeah, but if I am not mistaken a lot of your previous posts are "racial," and that doesn't seem nice does it?

i just took a crap while reading this post on my Treo.

OK to sum it up in a nut shell:

1-OK I'm gonna win the overall USA
2-Stan and I will have a gun fight on the track of UNLV after the show.
3-Then my Mom is going to cook spaghetti and meatballs for us on Sunday afternoon.
4-Stan and I will be performing our act Monday through Thursday at the Sands casino.
I guarantee we will be a hit.....hows that?
