Serious question: You are a parent to a high school student (male or female). You know that the gym teacher is homosexual or lesbian. You know that gym teachers are in lockerooms while students are dressing. Do you complain or do nothing? This question was brought up at a dinner party I attended and was shocked at the answers. As for me, I would think that the teacher is a professional and would not let attraction creep into their work. What say you?

Having said that no problem with a coach or teacher being gay and teaching my kids on the field or on the courts etc.
It's just the changing room thing I would object to, that is all....no nudity, no problem

I ask the kid if the teach does anything odd or anything that makes the kids uncomfortable. If the answer is no, then live and let live.

here's the thing. I like women, does not mean if you put in in a room full of young girls I'd be turned on. There is nothing sexual about it as I don't seek them out for sex.

I am not, but if I was that would be MY personal choice.
The kids who are changing in the changing room have no choice about someone who is attracted to the same sex as them voluntarily or involuntarily being aroused by them regardless of if it is not acted upon.
It leads to an uncomfortable/awkward situation for all parties
Same applies to str8 males in females changing rooms and vice versa.

You need to teach your sons/daughters to tell you about any creepy situation happening. Educate them about not getting money, candy and anything from a stranger especially older than them. If there's a communication between the parents and the childrens then you'd know about if a teacher is getting close to them very soon before something bad happens.
After all, you americans doesn't have anything to do about it. Even if you dislike the fact that a Homo gym teacher is getting to locker rooms, you'd not change it and school administration will not listen to you. You left alot of thing slip from your hands. Gym teacher, science teacher, english teacher, what have you.....sexual orientation does not guarantee whether or not someone will prey upon a kiddo LOL....that's ridiculous.
You gotta watch out for perverts in general (they come in all stripes) and make sure you're talking to your kids and/or your kid's friend's parents. Be reasonably active in the lives of your children and that'll help keep the pervs at bay. Won't stop it, but if they know a presence is there they'll be less inclined to act.....imho.

Yes, we must be aware there are perverts everywhere, police officers, firefighters, teachers, priests, etc. etc. I get that, I posed this question because it seemed to be a hot topic among people at a dinner party I was at. I know GetBig has people all over the world and wanted to see what other people would say.
Stay on course...Knowing how teens are dressing and looking now and seeing how some can look much, much older than they are and still be underage in 9th, 10th and 11th grade. Would you as a parent be comfortable with a person that is attracted to the same sex watching your child dress and shower?
Lets face it, teachers that are in high school can be as young as 21 and with a Masters degree 23, some students are 19 and that's not a huge age gap.

Another homosexual/bisexual/confused sexual and really disturbed person was my buddy, he was into necrophilia, the guy would really tell me alot about himself, probably things he will never tell to a psy. He was raped at 10 by an older guy and that's a reason for his bisexuality.
That last guy was confused about sexuality to some weird extent. I finally dug enough to know his fascination toward necrophilia. He was rejected alot of times by plenty of girls, in very humiliating ways sometimes because he was ugly and fat. One time he went to see a girl he used to talk to for like months or years, I don't remember, then when he went to see her she really didn't like him facially and he was shocked of the way she behaved toward him. So the guy went on a trip to meet her when they finally met in the train station, she talked to him a bit and told him " I'll be back" and never went back to see him but texted him " I have something to do, I really need to go". That's really heartbreaking. He told me that he roamed, like an idiot, for hours in the train station, then the city without her coming back or answering his calls. It's just fucking sad. So all of these experiences with girls made him go necrophilia because a death body doesn't reject and doesn't go away.
Great guy after all. He was fat and I was the one to introduce him to weight lifting ( As weird as he is, he took to another level especially when he dieted. He took it seriously, even told me he puked when he knew he fucked up.). Do the teachers need to be in the locker rooms in the first place? From what I remember my gym teachers didn't hang out in the locker room at all. Maybe a quick walk through sometimes for whatever reason, to see if someone is still in there etc.

I can tell you this, I once saw a "woman" walking in the hallway whom I thought was a new teacher. She had those red bottom shoes on, one of those designer big bags hanging off her shoulder, beautiful blond hair that looked as though she just left the salon and make up that was so on point. I watched her from my desk and noticed she went down the junior hall. Very embarrassing to myself but I was in disbelief over how old and beautiful she looked. Students now pay no attention to dress code and there is no enforcing it because its a losing battle.

Parents are to blame more often than not. The same parent that would not take a chance parking their car in a bad area would have no problem putting their kid at great risk.
