my friend attended on sunday of the expo, here are his thoughts and observations
So... Went to the Expo yesterday with Suresh. Pretty much everyone except Kai Greene was there yesterday which was a bit of a shame. Had a walkaround first and saw pretty much everyone. Jay Cutler was at Nutrition warehouse booth and when we queued up there, a guy said that Jay would go back to his booth ( BPI Sports/ Cutler Nutrition) soon and there was no point standing there. So we left and again went for a walkaround as most of these guys had gone for lunch buy then.
Caught Johny Jackson pretty much alone in the Mutant booth and took a pic with him. Nice guy. Did not seem to have an attitude but damn short. He has a thick set of traps and chest but his height is never gonna get him into the top 5 I think since he looks small compared to the others....
Saw Dexter Jackson and wanted to get a pic with him. Dexter looked a bit short too but he was wide and big.....His line was very big as well and my priority was Jay and Phil.
So eventually got to the BPI sports line to meet Jay Cutler. The queue there was moving reasonably fast and I got to him. Jay seemed a very nice and friendly guy but seemed a little mentally slow and talked very slow, he appeared even a bit glassy? I asked him if it was his first time in Melbourne and he started talking to me and we chatted for about 5 minutes before I said bye to him. Then we went for another walk around since Phil was giving his seminar which had to have additional tickets to get in there which I was not gonna spend..
During this walkaround we saw Rich Piana looking like a plastic doll as Suresh said also. He was was signing T shirts and posing for photos with the Tattooed wannabes. His Queue was not that big.
I saw Ulysses Junior and Jeff Seid as well. The homosexuals and schmoes were goin mad for them and they were lapping it up. The Hodge twins were there as well but I did not c them. Shawn Ray just as last year was dressed up in a suit. Very very short guy.
Then we saw Flex Lewis and Roelly Winklar in the BSN Booth. Both looked pretty big but flex is very short like JOJ. Roellys arms would any day be even with Phil heath I think.
Ronnie yesterday was sitting down all the time coz of his recently rectified hips and hence there was a stool next to him for people to sit and take pics with him and his queue as it has been for the past 2 years was monstrous. Ronnie looked same like last year but bigger than 2013 when I took a pic with him where he looked like a normal man who works out. Then we saw Flex Wheeler and Dennis James in a booth. I asked Flex can I have a pic with you and he said " Sure my friend" and we took a pic. I thanked him and he said " U r always welcome brother". Flex seemed a nice guy too. Dennis James was only giving attention to the females and yesterday too as I mentioned to u before looked like havin a cocky attitude trying to act like "Cool guy".
Finally had to wait in line for about 2 hours to get to Phil Heath coz the other wankers in front of the line were chatting with him too much. When it got to about 4:15, the event Support staff girls ( Dont know here they got such fat old women from) said "Phil will head off at 5.. So we cannot guarantee that everyone will get to him. However for $100, we can put you to the front of the line and get 2 signed T shirts (Gifted Athletics) and a pic with Phil". I said to Suresh" Shit no we aint doing that". Couple of guys went for it.
But eventually I got to him. but by that time it was about 4:45 and I did not have time as I had with Jay for a 5 minute Chat. I told him " Nice to see you Champ" he said " Nice to see you too my friend". The we took a pic and I told him " Good luck for your title defence and your 5th Sandow. He said " Thank u; Thank u very much" and that was the end of that.
Anyway went to Dexters booth to try and meet him. But the queue was still there and I would not have made it to him before 5... So Dexter had to be next time and hopefully Kai greene will come too... All in all it was an afternoon nicely spent I reckon

I met Sergio Olivia before and even with a long line no demands of money were made
The man beat Arnold and would have never thought to charge money

It's funny how the first two don't get much coverage on these boards, but are more known to the fitness and modeling following public than probably Branch Warren, possibly even Phil Heath.

I have met pretty much everyone in Bodybuilding including Sergio. Never would I wait in a line with more than few people, let alone spend a dime for a picture. :)

I have met pretty much everyone in Bodybuilding including Sergio. Never would I wait in a line with more than few people, let alone spend a dime for a picture. :)
I have met at the least 10 Surfing World champs, including Kelly Slater (11 titles) & have drink/munch with them for free & fuck knows how many Olympic & World sailing titlists 8)
