So anyway I told you guys yesterday I bought my girlfriend a cute baby chihuahua cos she always wanted one to fit in her Gucci handbag.
Anyway she absolutely loved him.
So she takes him home and now she is thinking of name to call him.
So few hours later she calls me up all excited and she's like "babes I got the name, I got the name"
I am like "Ok cool so what you decided to call him babes"
She says "I decided to call him Basil"
I nearly fucking projectile vomit my coffee all over the TV Screen.
I am like "uhhh what??? Basil????....No....no....nooooooo ooo"
She is quite shocked and is like "what is wrong with Basil"?
I am like "trust me you don't wanna call him Basil....Basil is old mans name"
she is like "but I really like Basil, its a cute name, whats wrong with it"
So anyway I spend like half hour talking her out of it....and she thinks I am a weirdo.
Finally she calls me up again today and says she is gonna call him "Bonnie" instead.
I wasn't even gonna be like why fuck you naming the boy after a girls name.
Just sooooo glad she didn't call him Basil.
Have to take him for injections and stuff tomorrow.

My girl is stubborn at the best of times but I just could not live myself that such a cute little pup could be called "basil"....I mean seriously WTF.....every time I looked at him I imagined the leaving door gif or bicep machines that resembles the star-ship enterprise.
I think I did the right thing insisting the name got changed.
Was best in the long run.
