Title: There are 88 million people in the U.S. of working age, not employed or looking?

I'm well aware it's not a problem with a single answer and it's not just matter of laziness.  I'm wondering what would happen if government subsidies were taken away what would the people do then? It will never happen because the people would revolt.

Cut off welfare to only the needy

Scale back unemployment benefits

Make drug testing mandatory for welfare recipients

Deport the 30 million illegals

I remember when I was a kid being on welfare or anything was embarrassing. People would use them only in discrete places, and being in NYC alot of people were on assistance. But today everywhere you go there are signs for ebt cards, and people flash them around like their so proud.

Its like the days of a good education, or getting a good job has been replaced by working the system. Even a good friend of mine told me how he gets 3k a month in disability and works an easy desk job even though he can squat and dead more then me.

In sheer numbers whites are on welfare overwhelmingly more, in percentages, blacks are more.  This isn't about race so please lets not make it about it.

The jobless rate decreased to 5.5 percent in February from 5.7 percent in the previous month. It is the lowest figure since May of 2008 as the number of unemployed persons went down.

There were 8.7 million unemployed people in February, down from 8.97 million in the previous month.

One bigger problem is the stupid wealth distribution. Many people have money they can not spent in ten lifetimes whereas others can barely buy chicken breasts.

So? I see no problem in that. No one is equal and shouldn't be. Some dumber, some less. The strongest rise to the top and control the others. The bottom stay bottom feeders for a reason, too many useless fucks that need to die off

Unemployed or having a dead end job in mcdonalds is the same thing. I would be frustrated if there were no burger or pizza joints out there, but life would go on without them perfectly. I don't believe flipping burgers helps economy.

You're ugly as fuck
You're a queer
You're classless
You're an idiot
You're socially awkward
People laugh at you, not with you
You consider yourself to have been in the military, yet, you never made it out of basic training (You were never in)
You have the most pathetic physique I've ever seen on a black man I've ever seen.
You let a grown man spit on you and you did nothing.

You're a joke.  You're a pussy.  If your father knew you, he'd be ashamed of you.

No it's not Melvin.  Only in your in atrophied little mind could you make such a ridiculous statement.

If you could understand what you read, you'd know that I said it's not as simple as being lazy you fucking moron.  What about the people that are rich that don't have to work?  No shit.  You stated nothing I didn't already know.

Do you really think calling me a monkey or telling me to go to a cotton field is going to hurt my feelings? Because we both know I'm not a monkey and there are no cotton fields I'll be going back to.  You on the other hand, will still have a face that frightens children, prefer to put your penis in the  hole where a man excretes waste, you'll still be laughed at by most here, you'll still lack class, you'll still be socially awkward, you'll still have a shitty physique, and you'll still let men spit on you and you'll do nothing.  These are facts.

Sell out?  You fuck cockeyed white men in the ass.  Nuff said queer.

I started working when I was 15 in a donut shop and have had a job ever since.
My work gives me value to the society I live in.

ANY person who CAN work a job...should, with no excuses.
I did some lousy jobs in my time, but it was an honest buck .

I wasn't happy doing shit work, so I got an education and applied myself to establish a career.

These bodybuilders that whine about needing a "sponsor" so they can compete, make me sick.
For fuks sake, get a job, ANY job and work out on your off hours.

One bigger problem is the stupid wealth distribution. Many people have money they can not spent in ten lifetimes whereas others can barely buy chicken breasts.

Go out and risk it all to start a business. If you sell billions of dollars worth of products or services and net a nice return on it without breaking the law, I'd say you earned the right to keep the majority of what you earned.

We're starting to see more businesses close than open. We're increasing taxes and regs, and giving out more entitlements. Not a good recipe.

according to Shadowstats.com if we run the same M1 and M3 numbers through the formula's they used to calculate unemployment in the 1980s we'd be looking at 24-27% unemployment.  Which honestly seems more realistic.  It would also be a percentage more accurately reflecting the number of people on government assistance (55 million).

Fun fact:  If you did the same formulas to compute the inflation rate it would be almost 12%.  Very different from the current Whitehouse numbers of 6.5% unemployment and 2% inflation.

Kinda makes you wonder why each administration since Reagan has changed the formulas...wonder what they're so intent on hiding.
