I found not having any stress to be very stressful, it usually means a big problem is right around the corner.

What makes you think that you are in good shape, eat healthy, and have no stress? What is you waist measurement? What is your diet made up of? If you have no stress, then why are you worried about sleep apnea?

Healthy fats? How much animal source saturated fat do you eat? What kind of stimulants do you use?

Your diet contains way too much polyunsaturated fats, and not nearly enough long carbon chain saturated fats from large animal sources. Eat high fat content ground beef every day. Your brain and nerves need saturated fat from large animal sources to function properly. DHA from fish, or fish oil supplements help too. Eat more whole eggs. Caffeine really does a number on proper brain function. Stop that.

I made a thread months ago after jumping out of the bed gasping for air :/ After some research I started sleeping on my side and since then I sleep like a baby. :) Even my neck pains are pretty much gone. I also went to the doctor but he told me that my problem was not sleep apnea ??? At that time I had some kind of allergy, and my nasal cavities were swollen and was dificult to breath. I used a nasal spray for a month I think.

Epic broscience ::)
Typical useless post, from someone severely lacking in any knowledge of the subject.

Often times sleep apnea has nothing to do with being fat. You can have central sleep apnea where your brain stops sending signals for you to breathe. I have mixed sleep apnea, which is a combo of obstructive and central sleep apnea. I know many women that are in great shape that have it. So to think it's just for fat people or out of shape people is wrong.

Yep. The same for me. Like you, I try to stay healthy, no alcohol, no ciggarettes, no peds, so experiencing something similar to sleep apnea was a big letdown. :( But I'm ok now. :) I'm sure you will be ok.

In my case sleeping on my side was the solution. That and a nasal spray so I could breath normally. It seems that for a lot of people, sleeping on your back = blocked airways (thanks gravity :D). So, sleeping on your side fix that.

It's because your elbows are internally rotated.

Quit caffeine, what are you some kinda sissy? Caffeine is good for your brain it delays alzheimers.
