Good for you. I got a full work up and went to an endocrinologist a few years back on ref. from my reg doc.
I was pleased that all my levels were in the ideal range for my age, except 1...free testosterone.
It was around 280 mg/dl so they prescribed me Androgel and it's now around 600-700 mg/dl.

I gained some wt ( fat-blubber) in recent years so my blood pressure went up a little.
I'm doing more cardio now and cutting back on food and the blood pressure is coming back down as I lose wt...go figure.

Once you get the full work up and results, you can't help but think how crazy hardcore bodybuilding can be.
Seeing each and every vital level is a real eye opener and changes your perspective from maximum mass to maximum healthy.

Let us know how it goes.

True. But doing endless "garbage" reps on largely pointless bodybuilding exercises isn't doing anything for his joints, either. Grinding those fuckers down with little-to-no-worth workouts.

Doing strength training at his age, with his injuries and oil filled arms would just destroy whatever's left

Best for him to stop trying to be the biggest middle aged man, cut to 200 and try to make it to 50
