They create the pesicide then genetically engineer the seeds to not be affected by it.  Win-win for them and cheap corn and grains for everyone else in the world while they grow all new forms of cancer.  Wouldn't be surprised if Monsanto owns some pharma companies by another name selling drugs to fight the diseases that they give people.
