I wasn't even thinking about it from online forum perspective.
More to do with real life.
There are no winners and losers on an online forum from what I can tell.
Cos there is nothing to win or lose of any importance.
Other than imaginary and fictitious egos.

But here is the rub...the truth is boring and should be kept to real life.

Why must one behave the same way they do in real life on an internet forum?
Doesn't a forum such as this exist to provide a forum of escapism and entertainment, similar to porn or online gambling or video games?
When you play XBox and shoot all the enemies in the video game you don't go outside your house with a machine gun do you?!
Or when you fantasize about strangling some hooker to death while watching BDSM porn, it doesn't mean you carry that out on your girlfriend the next night, does it?......(uhhhh...ok unless she is a real freaky bitch...lol)
Same way when we give each other shit on the forum using colorful language, anyone with any intelligence should realize it is NEVER serious.
You CANNOT hurt or threaten someone online....it is not possible...lol
I have been on forums probably for about 15 years. I have never known anyone to die or be caused any real harm from it.
Sometimes in the poker forums people get into real fights over who owes who money....but usually those things started of in real life in the first place then spilled on to the forums.
That is my personal opinion about that.

The main issue is when guys you talk to off the boards who also use the forum starting bringing into real life conversations nonsense from the boards.
They convolute reality and fiction by doing that to the point where they don't know what is what and it causes mistrust.
Conversations such as " Uhhh....you are this and that gimmick aren't you? I KNOW its you, mod told me the IP address"
Me: "Uhhh no brah its not my gimmick, if it was I would just tell you"..!
Why?
Cos there is nothing to win or lose on an online forum.
When that person insists on calling you a liar and saying stuff like "Don't lie to me I know its you"
Then they start ruining perfectly good friendships in real life by bringing stuff over from their online fantasy world.
I have seen this phenomena happen many times with people on here.
They need to learn to have a sense of context and perspective.

Well technically speaking only administrators should be able to see IP addresses.
However that wouldn't have stopped Ron giving certain mod admin privileges and hiding their admin status by changing user right if he choose to do that.
Clearly mods have been give banning powers where as before it was just Ron who could do that, so who is to say who has what admin rights or not, and no real way for anyone to verify.
Hypothetically and I emphasize hypothetically, assuming that was the case with certain mods being given admin privileges those mods could quite easily leak IP info on their friends as favors.
That is what was suggested to be was being done.
I have no idea if it was true or not.
Having said that there is absolutely no question in my mind that certain favors were done for certain people to demonstrate "power" by having certain posts and threads deleted which were predicted to have been done before in time and then carried out in the future as promised.
For Example.
I get text message "you should tone it down.....you should say this or that.....attack shizzo.....if you don't your asylum thread will be deleted....I can get you banned within 10 minutes"
When I would refuse.
Ten minutes later the said threats were carried out.

How do you know who the majority is on here and what they think? Do you know the identities of the people here? Perhaps you have physic abilities I don't know about?
If I disguised my 700 gimmicks by building up post counts and not typing in purple and not making it known who is behind the account are you suggesting I can totally dominate this forum with mind control tactics and have "majority rule" here....lol????
Give me a break, there are certain posters who don't like me.....and certain ones who do.......the ones that don't for the most part are gimmicks of the same 2 or 3 people who don't like me who send complaints via proxy server in attempt to create a form of propaganda against me and create the illusion that I am not liked and try to create a snowball effect by using the strategy if we repeat the same lie over and over it becomes the truth.
Same tactics that were employed against Vince.
It is very clear to most how that works. People are not stupid and can see through 10 gimmicks backing each other up. Even OMR spotted the pattern and did something about it.
Imagine I set upon 100 gimmicks online simultaneously which I have capability to do(all disguised under different ips) with reasonable built post counts and styles and started slandering you and making up lies about you would that make it real or true reflection of events....or me simply setting you up trying to be clever!
It would be extremely easy for me to do that.
While others choose path of deceit and dishonesty by doing that.
I choose honesty and integrity on here.
That is the difference my friend between us.

While there is much truth in what you've posted here, when does it cross the line? I suspect you have issues with what is real life and what is a distraction from the boredom of it. Think about it. You indulge in all of the things you mention, porn, online gambling, forum exchanges and possibly video games.
You encourage folks to call you on the phone or meet you in person. Doesn't this destroy the fantasy? Or has this fantasy become your reality. Are you this desperate for friends?
