Superman is the first and greatest superhero ever created. His image has graced the covers of countless comic books and continues to be the standard of this American art form. They continue to impact and influence everyone from all over the world. But what are his greatest covers ever? I take on the daunting task and put together a list of the top 25! While all my favorites listed might not necessarily be yours, we can probably agree on the fact that they made an impact on pop culture - because Superman basically is pop culture! Up, up and away!!

I liked pretty much all of the John Byrne covers. Superman Forever by Ross was another good one.

anyone that can think of 25 covers needs to find a tall building, take the elevator to the top floor, take the service stairs to the roof, walk to the edge and jump off.

Anything Alex Ross does is gold.

For me its only when he paints Superman. I think all the other characters he does look goofy, and he should add more artistic license instead of recreating exactly what cheap looking costume he made and put his model in.

No kidding, huh? Not much better than posting on getbig all day as I do, but still... The comic book crowd are a geeky bunch.

But with the advent of technology, you can post from getbig anywhere. This is why the whole, "You're a loser because you post on a bodybuilding board a lot" is false. All jobs have computers, and most people have cell phones and tablets, it makes posting very easy. Hell, you can be in a job meeting and be posting on getbig lol. Or in class. I am sure many people do.
